Popular Thai anisong singer MindaRyn, who gained popularity through her anisong cover videos, and her YouTube channel has over 950,000 subscribers. Her 2nd Single “Like Flames,” which is used as the second OP theme song for season 2 of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime, released on July 7 on digital platforms ahead of the physical edition.  “Like Flames” is a fast-paced rock song written and composed by Sachiko, the vocalist and guitarist of the girl’s rock band FliP.
“Like Flames” music video has also been released on MindaRyn’s YouTube channel.

MindaRyn has put out a call for cover videos of “Like Flames.” Any cover videos uploaded to YouTube will be added to a playlist created on her channel. To encourage people to create cover videos, she has set up a special webpage where you can download the instrumental recordings for free. The idea behind this plan is to share “Like Flames” with the whole world, whether you’re listening to it or singing it.

Popular six-member pop-rock band LUCKY KILIMANJARO announced that they will be releasing a brand new single, “踊りの合図” (“Odori no Aizu”), July 21. The title song of the single “Odori no Aizu” has already been released as a "new summer song" on the national tour LUCKY KILIMANJARO ONEMAN TOUR DAILY BOP which has been held since May. Currently released across all music streaming platforms, the song is a technical fusion of lyrics with a unique setting that repeats time travel and a passionate, Latin-flavored sound. The coupling song "あついきもち” (“Atsuikimochi”) is a peaceful one with a positive message. The single will come through a CD-only standard release.

King & Prince Wants to Know Your Name With Latest Music Video!

Ahead of their upcoming album, popular five-member Johnny’s boy group King & Prince released the music video for their track “Namae Oshiete” on their YouTube channel. "Namae Oshiete" is a full-length English song recorded for the group’s upcoming third album Re: Sense which will be released July 21. Produced by American singer-songwriter/music producer Babyface, the recording took place in his private studio in Los Angeles which the unit studied at in 2019. The music video depicts King & Prince dressed as theater stars, with one guy searching for a woman he fell in love with at first sight in the theater lobby. The crew performs a sharp dance on a stage set reminiscent of Broadway.

As previously reported, the album will include sixteen tracks and three editions: a CD-only standard edition and two limited editions, Types A & B. Both limited editions will come with a bonus DVD, with Type A including the music video for “Bokura no Great Journey” along with the making-of for the album overall. Type B will include the music video for “Namae Oshiete” along with a “Dance version” of the video, and also a mini-documentary of the group’s time in LA for the track. Not to be left out, the standard edition will come with a bonus seventeenth track exclusive to its edition.

Haruka Kudo Fights Zombies Under the Sun in Latest Music Video!

Ahead of her upcoming single, voice actress-turned-vocalist Haruka Kudo released the music video for her song  “Under the Sun” on her YouTube channel. Released back on the 7th, this was the latest release from the vocalist since her mini-album POWER CHORD back in October and will be her first single overall. The lyrics are based on the theme of "positive broken heart", which wishes happiness in the same sun even if the two are separated from each other. The lyrics were written by Kudo herself. The music video is a movie style video of Kudo fighting zombies, directed by Mani Kato. The single will come with two editions including a CD-only standard edition and a limited edition which will come with a bonus Blu-ray. The Blu-ray will feature not only the music video but behind-the-scenes footage from its production as well.

STUTS, Takako Matsu and 3exes Bring Their Presence to A Record Near You With Upcoming Release!

Track mixer STUTS and vocalist Takako Matsu announced that their collaboration album with 3exes, Presence, will be having a vinyl release drop September 29. Released originally on CD in June, this work contains all versions of the theme song "Presence" and was produced by STUTS and composed by Takako Matsu. Main vocals were provided by Masaki Okada with additional vocals by Akihiro Kakuta of Tokyo 03 and Ryuhei Matsuda. The original release of this work gathered a lot of attention due to the participation of several rappers such as KID FRESINO, BIM, NENE of Yurufuwa Gang, Daichi Yamamoto, and T-Pablow of BAD HOP, as well as "Presence Remix" with all five rappers as well as melody and lyrics. The track “Presence Reprise" featuring butaji was co-written with STUTS. Instrumental songs by STUTS are also included.
