Kaede Shows Off Her Youthful Nature in Latest Music Video!

To celebrate the release of her latest album, vocalist Kaede of the idol group Negicco released the music video for her track “Youth” on T-Pallete’s YouTube channel. The track was used as the lead song on Kaede's solo album Youth —Original Soundtrack, which was released on June 15. The music video was made into a short film and Asami Takemoto, a model representing the free paper Niigata Bishoujo Zukan, and Takasho Aoyagi, who is active as a model and dancer in Niigata prefecture, both had no acting experience prior. The work includes ten tracks total and two editions: a CD-only standard edition and a limited edition which includes a bonus Blu-ray. The Blu-ray features Kaede’s acoustic live she held back in March.

From Japan to the World, BALLISTIK BOYZ Puts their Hands Up with their Latest Release!

Ever since their formation in April 2018, dance and vocal group BALLISTIK BOYZ from EXILE TRIBE have had their sights set on global activity. The group is made up of seven extremely talented members who perform physically demanding acrobatic dance routines while singing into handheld mics. Several of the members are bilingual, and they have appeared on stages outside of Japan and around Southeast Asia, thanks to their performance skills that could rival any top-tier global artist.

Their fourth single “SUM BABY” (pronounced “Summer Baby”) will be released on Wednesday, August 4. As a sneak peek, one of the songs included on that release, “HANDS UP”, is now available digitally, along with an accompanying “art track” video.

“HANDS UP” was first unveiled during the group’s headline tour this year. In these uncertain times, the song’s powerful and positive lyrics and music encourage listeners to make the most of the present and overcome any obstacles ahead. It’s a memorable track with a fighting spirit that has its eyes on the prize.

The single released on August 4 will feature four new songs, including both “HANDS UP” and “SUM BABY”, a catchy summer anthem that is perfect for the summer heat – especially that of summer 2021, when we could use that boost the most. Each of the songs will be made available in advance as a digital release – see the schedule below for more details.

A DVD will also be released, which includes the “SUM BABY” music video as well as live footage from their 2021 headline tour, titled BALLISTIK BOYZ PROLOGUE LIVE TOUR 2021 “PASS THE MIC” ~WAY TO THE GLORY~, along with documentary footage of the members as they make their way to the concert venue. The DVD will also include an interview in which the members share their feelings about the headline concert tour that had been planned to take place across the whole year of 2020, but was sadly cancelled soon after it began in February 2020 due to the ongoing pandemic.

During the same period, a special campaign will allow fans who purchase products from the campaign site to enter a lottery for a chance to join an online meet and greet with the members of BALLISTIK BOYZ. Sora Amemiya Soars Free With Upcoming Single!

Popular voice actress-turned-vocalist Sora Amemiya announced the she will be releasing a brand new single, “Freesia”, July 21. Currently set as the ending theme song of the Japanese anime version of the Chinese novel Heaven Official’s Blessing, this will be the latest release by the singer since her single “永遠のAria” (“Eien no Aria”) back in May, with it being her 12th single overall. The coupling will also include “情熱のテ・アモ” (“Jonetsu Te Amo”), which Amemiya herself wrote and composed, and a new song titled “Emerald". The single will drop with two editions: a CD-only standard edition and a limited edition which will come with a bonus DVD. The DVD will feature the music video of the title song in which Amemiya appears along with TV spots.

Announced during Cinderella switch vol.7, VARK Inc. and Hololive Production revealed a new Cinderella switch series, “Cinderella switch -new act-”.

MAX Brings A Brand New Shot With Upcoming Single!

Four-member girl group MAX announced that they will be releasing a brand new single, “Do Shot”, July 28. This will be the latest release by the long-running group since their digital single  “一緒に･･･ (Happiness 2020)” (“Issho ni”) back in December of last year and will be their 37th single overall. The title song, "Do Shot", is a dance number that sings the feelings of a woman who falls in love, and the coupling includes a summer tune titled "Viva la Mambo" as well. The single will drop with two editions including a CD-only standard edition and a limited edition which will come with a bonus DVD. The DVD will feature the music video for both “Do Shot” and “Issho ni･･･ (Happiness 2020)” along with their 2019 a nation performance and their Final Summer Dream Stage performance which took place back in 1999.
