Polkadot Stingray Spreads Their Wings in Latest Music Video!

Popular four-member pop rock band Polkadot Stingray released the music video for their track “青い” (“Aoi”) on their YouTube channel. Originally released in May on their EP 赤裸々 (Sekirara) back in May, the track was used as the ending theme song for the Tokusatsu anime Godzilla S.P which premiered on Netflix. The track was written with the feeling of supporting someone, delving into the curiosity of the character Mei, who appears in the anime. The music video is a work in which "new angel", dressed as the band member, supports the moment unique people gather at a coffee shop in a certain shopping district, doing their best without losing to everyday happenings. In addition to Polka members, Tomohiro Omura, Hana Amano, Asa Natsukawa, Dayu Koume, and Hikaru Sato also appear in the anime.

TENDRE Shows His Slice of PARADISE With Latest Music Video!

To celebrate his latest release, vocalist TENDRE dropped the music video for his track “PARADISE” on his YouTube channel. Released back on June 10 across all digital music streaming platforms, the track will also be included in his first major album scheduled to be released in September. The music video is directed by Takuya Katsumi, a videographer who worked on the music videos for TENDRE's "DRAMA" and "DOCUMENT".

BiSH Updates Fans on the DESTRUCTION For Upcoming Album!

Popular six-member alt-idol group BiSH divulged more information about their upcoming album GOiNG TO DESTRUCTiON. Set for release August 4, this will be the latest album by the group since LETTERS back in July of last year and will be their fourth major label album overall.

Featuring 14 tracks total, the album will drop with three editions: a CD-only standard edition and two limited editions which will come with a bonus DVD/ Blu-ray.  The full version of MTV Unplugged: BiSH, which was aired on MTV Japan on June 12, will be included on the DVD and Blu-ray. The Blu-ray edition will also feature several music videos and a 100-page photo book. MTV Unplugged is an acoustic live project started in New York, USA in 1989 and BiSH faced a traditional stage with production and costumes reminiscent of iconic American rock band Nirvana. Also included on the limited editions will be unreleased footage of "DiSTANCE," "NO SWEET," and "FOR HiM," which were cut during the original airing.

THE SOUND BEE HD Brings the WALKING DEAD Back Once Again with Latest Music Video!

The Gothic Rock band THE SOUND BEE HD has unleashed the music video for "WALKING DEAD 2021". This is a new version of the song released in 2017 and it was taken into the studio to be re-recorded for the best-of album DEAD MEMORIES-THE SOUND BEE HD 20th anniversary- that hit the stores on May 26.

“WALKING DEAD” is definitely the most iconic song from the band that captivated many fans with its haunting synth intro and high-distorted guitar riffs, as well as the obvious reference to the popular tv show from which they took inspiration for the zombies' theme. This new version presents a more aggressive sound with an exponential industrial influence, showcasing the current style of the quartet.

The best-of album DEAD MEMORIES-THE SOUND BEE HD 20th anniversary- is not only a retrospective of their career, but also a glimpse of their current and future approach. Follow the road of horror and melancholy that this Shinigami band has been building year after year!

FAKY to Appear at First Ever Online Edition of HYPER JAPAN, Britain’s Top Fest for Japanese pop culture!

Five-member girl group FAKY have been confirmed to perform at HYPER JAPAN, Britain’s largest Japanese pop-culture event, which will take place online for the first time in the event’s history this summer. The members of FAKY include a variety of nationalities: Akina is half Japanese and American, Taki has roots in the Philippines and France, while Lil’ Fang, Mikako and Hina are all Japanese.

FAKY found success from early in their career: their Candy EP ranked at No.3 in the iTunes general album chart when it was released in 2016, behind Ariana Grande and Radiohead. They have attracted attention at home and overseas as part of a “new wave of J-pop”, and featured in the Top 10 of the Spotify Viral Top 50 in Japan and the United States.

Before the spread of the ongoing pandemic, FAKY performed shows overseas, after being invited to appear at events in Brazil, Spain and Canada.

For their appearance at this summer’s HYPER JAPAN online festival – titled HYPER Show! with FAKY – fans from all over the world will be able to interact with one another over Zoom. Never-before-seen video footage from FAKY’s January 2021 headline concert will be shown, along with a Q&A session with the members of FAKY. The event will begin at 10:00 BST on July 10.
