BoA Celebrates 20th Anniversary in Japanese Music Industry!

Superstar BoA is celebrating her 20th anniversary in the Japanese music industry by starting off with the release of BoA JP 20th - THE PROLOGUE - on the anniversary of her debut. On May 30, 2001, BoA debuted with her single “ID;Peace B” which made it to number 20 on the Oricon and stayed on the charts for six weeks. In BoA JP 20th - THE PROLOGUE -, BoA looks back on all her activities in an interview format featuring the music videos and live images that have been announced so far. Sorane Brings the Club to Life With Upcoming Album!

“Alcoholic club” Digital Jacket Cover

Popular rapper Sorane announced that he will be releasing a brand new work, “Alcoholic club”, June 23 across all digital streaming platforms. This will be the latest release by the artist since “SPLASH” back in April and will be his second release of 2021. Announced during the Nippon Broadcasting System All Night Nippon X, "Alcoholic club" is set to contain four songs total and was produced by the 20-year-old vocalist with the theme of "liquor". It will include previously released track “SPLASH", which is airing as a TV commercial song for the  boating competition BOAT RACE 2021, along with  "TSUMAMI", which was produced by A.G.O. The jacket artwork features illustrations by artist Toy (e), whose art is a hot topic mainly on SNS.

ASP Introduces Their Punk Style With Latest Music Video!

The four-member WACK affiliated female idol group ASP dropped the music video for their track “A Song of Punk” on their YouTube channel. This is a song off their upcoming debut album ANAL SEX PENiS which dropped May 26. Matching their older sister group before them, ASP looks to change the idea of what it means it be an idol with high-energy compositions and thought-provoking lyrics. The album includes 13 tracks and a CD-only standard edition.

Nagisa Kuroki Brings in the Parade With Upcoming Album!

Singer-songwriter Nagisa Kuroki announced that she will be releasing a brand new album, 死に損ないのパレード (Shini Zokonai no Parade), July 7. This will be the latest release by the vocalist since her digital single “竹” (“Take”) back in March and will be her fourth album overall. The album is set to include eight tracks total and will feature the songs “Da Capo" and “Take” along with “あたしの心臓あげる” (“Atashi no Shinzou (midnight ver.)”), which was improvised with the tour members. Kuroki commented on this work, "Living is a repetition of falling down and standing up again. As a professional of seven falls and eight rises, I will give you a new proposal: the so-called ‘Parade of Death’, which the title of the album is translated to.”

The album will also drop with three editions including a CD-only standard edition and two limited editions lovingly called Types A & B. Both limited editions will come with a bonus DVD, with Type A including footage from her one-woman live that took place at EX THEATER ROPPONGI in Tokyo back in February of last year, and Type B featuring footage from her online live that took place in December.

Fujii Kaze Gives Fans Flickers of Light In Latest Music Video!

Vocalist Fujii Kaze released the music video for his latest digital single “Kirari” which dropped on May 3! “Kirari” has been taking the charts by storm and made it in the Top Ten of the Oricon charts since its release. The music video came out the day after the release of Fujii Kaze’s HELP NEVER HURT COVER, making it the perfect time to unleash it. The music video for “Kirari” premiered on May 21 and is directed by Spikey John, who has worked with Fujii Kaze previously on his video for “Mo-Eh-Wa” and has also directed videos for artists such as BananaLemon and Awich, to name a few. The music video for “Kirari” is very fitting for the track itself and is a pleasure to watch both visually and musically. Check it out below!
