Aki Toyosaki Brings A Caravan With Upcoming Album!

Voice actress-turned-vocalist Aki Toyosaki announced that she will be releasing a brand new album, caravan!, June 30. This will be the latest release by the vocalist since her cover album AT living back in October 2018 and will be her fourth overall. Not much is known about the album at the time of reporting except that it will include a number of newly written songs by several guest artists, including lead song "Still I Wish You" which features Tomoya Tabuchi of UNISON SQUARE GARDEN fame as lyricist and Mito of Krambon as composer.

The album will drop with two editions: a CD-only standard edition and a limited edition which will come with a bonus Blu-ray. The Blu-ray will include not only the lead song music video but also the full-length online live Dive / Connect that Toyosaki did back in February for the first time. The live also will include footage of two unreleased songs.

Ran Brings Back the Rage With Latest Music Video!

To hype up the release of their upcoming single, five-member Visual Kei band Ran dropped the music video for their track “Karan” on their YouTube channel; it also became available across all music streaming platforms. Set for release May 26, this will be their latest single release since their EP Missing Link back in December of last year and will be their third single overall. The music video shows off the band’s unique skill in a very Visual Kei dystopian way and is a must-watch for fans. The single will be available only through a standard edition which will come with a CD and a bonus DVD. The DVD will include both the music video for “Karan” along with a behind-the-scened making-of for the video.

GRAPEVINE Moves With the Groove With Latest Music Video!

To hype up the release of their upcoming album, three-member rock band GRAPEVINE dropped the music video for their track “ねずみ浄土” (“Nezumi Jodo”) on their YouTube channel. A part of the album 新しい果実 (Atarashi Kajitsu) which will drop May 26, this song will be the latest release by the band since their album ALL THE LIGHT back in February 2019 and will be their seventeenth album overall. It will include ten songs total, such as "Gifted", released digitally back in March. The neo-soul number "Nezumi Jodo" was also released across all music streaming platforms, its music video directed by Takumi Shiga of CAVIAR and choreographed by MIKIKO.

The album will drop with two editions including a CD-only standard edition and a limited edition which will come with two additional CDs. The bonus CDs will feature audio rips of their FALL TOUR live concert that took place in Nakano Sunplaza back in November.

Grenfelle with Swinging Popsicle vocalist Mineko FUJISHIMA Plans to Keep It Goin' with Debut Single!

Pop group Grenfelle — featuring Swinging Popsicle vocalist Mineko Fujishima – will release their first single “KEEP IT GOIN'” on July 17, RECORD STORE DAY.

The single — sung entirely in English — will debut exclusively as a split 7-inch vinyl record, with a B-side featuring a remastered cover of Ben Watt’s “North Marine Drive” by French singer-songwriter Manuel Bienvenu. Details of the worldwide digital release will be announced after RSD 2021.

Grenfelle is a four-piece new vintage soul pop group featuring Mineko with bassist Masanori Shimada of Northern Bright, keyboardist Masashi Yamaguchi of airbus, and guitarist K-Go Mizutani of Honeydew. The artwork for “KEEP IT GOIN'” was created by Hitoshi “KINK” Suzuki, a graphic designer who has worked with LEARNERS, Hideki Kazi, NONA REEVES, and FRONTIER BACKYARD.

As a member of Swinging Popsicle, Mineko has toured the U.S. three times, including performances at FanimeCon in California and New York Anime Festival, as well as Mexico. She has also contributed vocals for the popular visual novels Sumaga (Star Mine Girl), Axanael, and Kimi to Kanojo to Kanojo no Koi.

Mineko delivered a message for international fans:
Hi, everyone! My new band, Grenfelle’s first single “KEEP IT GOIN'” will be released at 7/17 (Sat) on “RECORD STORE DAY / RSD DROPS 2021”.

Grenfelle’s sound is an alternative blend that reflects our influences of indie pop, indie rock, acid jazz, R&B, northern soul, neo soul, etc. We call this “A New Vintage Soul Pop Music” that is particularly focused on music production, seeking our own original groove that reflects our “now”.

CROSSNOESIS Brought The Moon Light With Upcoming Single!

Five-member female idol group CROSSNOESIS announced the they will be releasing a brand new single, “moon light”, May 25. This will be the latest release by the group since “CONSTRUCTION” back in December of last year and will be their second single overall. This work includes two tracks: “moon light" and "光芒” (“Koubou”), both written under the theme of "light shining into the darkness". Both songs are composed by sayshine, the producer of the group, and ofuton also participated in the arrangement of "Koubou”.
