V6 Brings Fans on a Magical Ride with Upcoming Single!

Popular six-member Johnny’s boy group V6 announced that they will be releasing a brand new double-A side single “僕らは まだ (“Bokura ha Mada”)/ MAGIC CARPET RIDE” on June 2nd. This will be the latest release done by the group since “It’s my life/ PINEAPPLE” back in September of last year and will be their 53rd single overall. "Bokura ha Mada" is set to be the theme song of the drama "Tokuso 9 season 4" starring member Yoshihiko Inohara, and is currently being broadcast on TV Asahi. In "MAGIC CARPET RIDE", songwriter Asako Toki wrote the lyrics for their previous work "PINEAPPLE".

The single will be released with two tracks and comes in three editions: a CD-only standard edition and two limited editions which will come with a bonus DVD that are lovingly called Type A and B. Type’s A DVD will feature the music video for “Bokura ha Mada” along with a behind-the-scenes featurette, with Type B including a special movie. The standard edition will include two bonus tracks along with an instrumental tracks for every song as well.

Cornelius Bring Fans Forbidden Apple with Latest Release!

Vocalist Keigo Oyamada’s solo project Cornelius announced that they will be releasing a brand new track, “Forbidden Apple”, across all music streaming platforms. This will be the latest release by the vocalist since the single "サウナ好きすぎ"(“Sauna Sukisugi”) back in July 2019 and will be his first release of 2021. The track was “mixed by Toru Takayama and is compatible with Sony's 360 stereophonic technology and 360 Reality Audio (Japanese only)”. To hype up the release even more, Cornelius dropped the lyric video for the track on his YouTube channel.

ENHYPEN Hypes Up the Carnival With Upcoming Preview!

To hype up their newest Japanese mini-album BORDER : CARNIVAL, up-and-coming seven-member Korean boy group ENHYPEN released a preview movie for the album on their YouTube channel. Dropped April 26, BORDER : CARNIVAL was the latest release by the group since the mini-album BORDER : DAY ONE and their second release overall. In this video you can listen to the songs recorded in BORDER: CARNIVAL as a digest. You can also check the credits for each song. Let's taste the songs of BORDER: CARNIVAL in this video along with the behind-the-scenes videos featuring photos and videos taken with the three concepts of “HYPE, UP, and DOWN”. The mini-album will come with six tracks total via a CD-only standard edition.

NakamuraEmi Brings More Work to Be Done With Three Months of Consecutive Releases!

Vocalist NakamuraEmi announced that she will be releasing a brand new track, “私の仕事” (“Watashi no Shigoto”), across all digital music streaming platforms. This will be the latest release since her album NIPPONNO ONNAWO UTAU BEST2 back in February of last year and is her first release of 2021. “Watashi no Shigoto” is going to be the Part One of a three-consecutive-months of releases, with Part Two scheduled for May 21 and Part Three on June 18. Nakamura looks to kick it off in her own unique fashion, as “Watashi no Shigoto” is a ballad song featuring strings composed by fifteen support artists.

To commemorate the release of this song a share campaign started on Apple Music, Spotify, and LINE MUSIC. Five of the people who participated in the campaign will win a "lyrics card with your name on it, handwritten by NakamuraEmi (Japan only)”.

May J. Opens Up Unique YouTube Channel!

Superstar May J. opened up a special YouTube channel titled May J’s Hashimo-channel. In the first video, May J. discusses her Wikipedia page, as her staff told her self introductions were not very interesting. May J. decided to make it fun by going through her own Wikipedia page and commented on whether the information is true or false. She discusses the origin of her stage name, the languages she speaks, and even laughs about the mistaken information on her own Wikipedia page. May J. commented on the opening of her Hashimo-channel, as she is hoping to be able to get to know herself better and to connect more with fans through her nickname, “Hashimo-chan”.
