Necry Talkie Bring a Notice to Upcoming Release!

To hype up the release of their upcoming album FREAK, five-member rock band Necry Talkie announced that they will be releasing a brand new track, “気になっていく” (“Ki ni Natteiku”) on May 3rd across all digital music streaming platforms. FREAK will release on May 19th and will be the latest album done by the group since their major debut album ZOO!! back in January of 2020. This will be Necry Talkie’s fourth studio album overall. 

FREAK will drop with two editions: a CD-only standard edition and a limited edition that will include a bonus Blu-ray. The Blu-ray will include footage form the last leg of their tour that took place in December along with a behind-the-scenes documentary about the live event as well.

UVERworld Brings Out a Brand New Sound with Upcoming Single!

Popular six-member rock band UVERworld announced that they will be releasing a brand new single, “NAMELY” on June 2nd. This will be the latest single release done since “HOURGLASS” back in March and will be their 38th single overall. Continuing their long running relationship with the anime industry, the title track will be the second ending theme song for the popular fantasy series Seven Deadly Sins: Dragon’s Judgement. The single will drop with three editions: a CD-only standard edition, a special edition, and a limited edition that will come with a bonus DVD. First Participation Artist for Takashi Matsumoto Tribute Album

To celebrate his historic run in the Japanese music industry, lyricist Takashi Matsumoto announced that he will be releasing a tribute album in his honor on July 14th. Currently untitled, Matsumoto's 50th anniversary project started at the end of 2019, and the release of the tribute album was originally announced in December last year. Elaiza Ikeda, GLIM SPANKY, Daoko, Daichi Miura, and Hiroji Miyamoto have been selected as the first participating artists in this work. Each artist is nominated by Seiji Kameda, the producer of the album. Of these, Elaiza Ikeda was also revealed to cover Hiroko Yakushimaru's "Woman ‘W no Higeki Yori’”. Ikeda has released footage from her studio recording on Nippon Columbia’s YouTube channel.

AIMI Brings May Day Early with Latest Music Video!

To celebrate the release of her single “ReSTARTING!!”, voice actress-turn-vocalsit AIMI released the music video for her track “MAYDAY” on her YouTube channel. Released back on April 7th, AIMI is most famously known as Kasumi Toyama from the popular BanG Dream!! multimedia franchise and serves as the vocalist’s re-debut as a solo artist. The music video is uniquely presented in full-length animation. It was directed by Scoch, with the illustration by Aino Ryoko, and the compilation of the video done by kotose. The single dropped with two editions: a CD-only standard edition and a limited edition that includes a bonus M-CARD that features the music video for “ReSTARTING!!”, along with a making-of featurette.

the peggies Leave Footprints In New Single

Three-member female rock band the peggies have announced that they will be dropping a brand-new single titled “Ashiatoo” and is set to be released on June 9th. The new single is being used as the ending theme for the popular shonen anime My Hero Academia. “Ashiatoo” is being released in two editions: a standard CD-only edition, and a special edition that will come with a bonus DVD. Pre-orders are up an d posted below along the peggies’s latest music video “Hanabi”.
