Castaway Brings a Brand New View with Upcoming Single!

Four-member punk rock band Castaway announced that they will be releasing a brand new single, “Kaleidoscope” May 19th on KURAMAE RECORDS. This will be the latest release done by the band since “Gold” back in 2019 and will be their first third single overall. The single title song is the first to be affiliated with the new label and will carry powerful vocals and melodic sound to create a solid track. Not much else is known about the single at the time of reporting, but it will be released with two tracks total and will drop in a CD-only standard edition.

Ai Kawashima Teams Up with Ryouta Fujimaki Once Again with an Inspirational Music Video!

“Dounika Kyou Made Ikitekita” Jacket Cover

Vocalist Ai Kawashima released the music video for there track “Dounika Kyou Made Ikitekita” on her YouTube channel. Originally set as a collaboration track with singer Ryouta Fujimaki back in March across all digital music streaming platforms, Kawashima made a guest appearance on J-WAVE's earthquake reconstruction support radio program "Hitachi Systems HEART TO HEART" in 2019. Fujimaki served as the MC and talked about "social contributions that can be made into music". The music video is composed of having Kawashima and Fujimaki's singing to each other along with a drama part that depicts a photographer who is about to give up her dream and draws inspiration after looking back at herself. Actress Moe Fujie plays the leading role and added her flower photography to the work.

sunsite Says Hello with Debut Album!

Duo sunsite announced that they will be releasing brand new album Buenos! on May 5th across all digital music streaming platforms. Consisting of the pair Kanji Yamamoto guitarist of The Cigavettes and actor Shugo Nagashima, the duo looks to shake up the music industry with complex sounds and lyrics that no one has never heard before. This will be the band’s first album and will release with their previously released hits ”Korogaru Ishi no Yoru” and “Natsu no Owari” and will drop with eight tracks total.

Maaya Uchida Brings a Brand New Memory with Latest Music Video!

To hype up the airing of the anime SSSS.DYNAZENON, voice actress-turned-vocalist Mayaa Uchida released the music video for the track “Strobe Memory” on Pony Canyon’s YouTube channel. Set as the ending theme song for the highly anticipated Tokusatsu anime and will release on May 12th. This will be the latest release done by the artist since her double A-side single “Heartbeat City/いつか雲が晴れたなら” (“Itsuka Kumi ga Haretanara”) back in November and will be her 12th single overall. The single will drop with two editions: a CD-only standard edition and a limited edition that will come with a bonus DVD and photo book. The DVD will include both the music video for “Strobe Memory” along with the behind the scenes making-of.

Homecomings Moves to a New Home with Upcoming Major Debut Album!

Four-member rock band Homecomings announced that they will be releasing brand new album Moving Days on May 12. This will be the latest physical release done by the band since Cakes back in April of 2019 and will be their major label debut with Pony Canyon IRORI records. Moving Days includes the album version of the theme song "Cakes" from the movie “Just Only Love" and "Pedal", which was used as the CM song for "Sukiya" last year. It will release with eleven songs total, including the ending theme "Herge" of the TV Tokyo drama Solo Live Girls' Recommendations. The album will drop with two editions: a CD-only standard edition and a limited edition which will come with a bonus Blu-ray. The Blu-ray will feature footage from the band’s BLANKET TOWN BLUES live event that took place back in December of last year. The jacket cover of the album is designed with the image of “Packing and moving”, which is the theme of this work, and the illustration was done by Sanuki Naoya, who is familiar with Homkami's work.
