Sayaka Yamamoto Brings it Back Again with New Single!

Popular vocalist Sayaka Yamamoto announced that she will be releasing a brand new single on October 28th. Currently untitled, this will be the latest single done by the artist since “追憶の光” (“Tsuioku no Hikari”) back in November of last year and will be her fourth single overall. No additional information is available at the time except that Yamamoto will be writing and composing the additional coupling B-side song for the release. It will also drop with two editions, a CD-only standard edition and a CD+DVD limited edition with the DVD including exclusive behind the scenes footage.

AIMI Brings The Tokyo Summer Nights with Latest Release!

Former member of Stereopony, AIMI, announced that she will release not only one track but two new tracks titled “Natsu Tomo”  and “Tokyo Night” across all digital music streaming platforms. This will be the latest release done by the artist since her mini-album Life back in May and will be her third release of 2020 overall. AIMI commented on both tracks stating “Natsu Tomo” is a high energy summer pop-tune and looks forward to performing it during summer festivals. She also says she hopes to keep the party going with “Tokyo Night”, as the track will contain an electro city-pop composition. To celebrate the release of both tracks, AIMI released the music video for “Natsu Tomo” on her YouTube channel which you can check out below. Digital links for both “Natsu Tomo” and “Tokyo Night” are now available as well. 

Mameshiba no Taigun Announces Major Debut With Avex

Five-member girl idol group Mameshiba no Taigun has revealed that they will be making their major debut with record label Avex. This news was announced during a live broadcast that took place on August 5th on the TBS show Suiyōbi no Downtown. The group also announced their first major single titled “Sama Bali”, set to be released on October 7th.

Mameshiba no Taigun is the by-product of Suiyōbi no Downtown which put on an idol audition project called “MONSTER IDOL”. Mameshiba no Taigun released their debut single on December 19th titled “Restart”. 

Further details about the upcoming release will be announced on a later date but the video for “Sama Bali” is already available so be sure to check it out below!

BENI Shows Off her Song with Upcoming EP!

Vocalist BENI announced that she will be releasing a brand new EP titled Y/our Song on September 16th. This will be the latest physical release done by the artist since CINEMATIC back in November of 2018 and will be used to celebrate her fifteenth anniversary in the music industry. The EP will include the recent digital release “HAPPY” and “夢色日和” (“Yumeiro Biyori”) and will release with seven tracks total. It will also drop with a CD+DVD limited edition which will include music videos featured on the EP along with a behind the scenes look of her latest live tour.

MAY'S Brings Bandit of New Releases!

Japanese R&B duo, MAY’s has released their latest digital single and music video for “BANDIT (To Be Continued”. The music video stars the famous actress Mao Inoue, who is known for her role in Hana Yori Dango (Boys Over Flowers) and is directed by Junichi Kawai. This comes to fans just weeks after their latest digital single “Mirai no Hana wo Shiyou” which released on July 29th, which a mid-tempo tune that talked about being able to change your future. “BANDIT (To Be Continued)” is a beautiful mid-tempo ballad that showcases Maiko’s vocals.
