TWICE Brings It Back Again With Upcoming Best-of Album!

Popular nine-member Korean idol girl group Twice announced that they will be releasing a brand new best-of album, #TWICE3, September 16. This will be the latest Japanese release by the group since “Fanfare” earlier in the month and, as its name implies, it will be their third best-of album overall. The album will include twelve tracks total, half of which being the Japanese versions of popular tracks such as “FANCY”, “STUCK IN MY HEAD”, and “21:29”—a first for them. The latter six tracks will be the original Korean versions. The album will also be available in three editions including a CD-only standard edition, a CD+Photo book limited edition (Type A), and a CD+DVD limited edition (Type B). Type B’s DVD will feature several music videos along with a behind-the-scenes making-of.

tricot Brings Us to You with Upcoming Single!

Four-member rock band tricot announced that they have released a brand new single “おまえ” (“Omae”) on all digital music streaming platforms. This is the latest release done by the band since their major label album “真っ黒” (“Makkuro”) back in January and is the first single release of 2020. This release also kicks off the band’s tenth year anniversary in the music industry and promises to be a summer tune that matches the gratefulness that they have received from the fans over the years.

Reign Of The Kings: EXILE SHOKICHI vs CrazyBoy

EXILE SHOKICHI (EXILE, EXILE THE SECOND) and CrazyBoy (aka ELLY of Sandaime J Soul Brothers from EXILE TRIBE) have released their music video for “FLY LIKE A DRAGON” and announced the single “KING&KING” will be drop on October 7th! “FLY LIKE A DRAGON” is part of a special collaboration single “KING&KING” which began in 2014 at the live performance 「"THE SURVIVAL" IN SAITAMA SUPER ARENA 10DAYS」with the special showdown of 「Nidaime J SOUL BROTHERS VS Sandaime J SOUL BROTHERS」. “KING&KING” is a renewal of this live performance and showdown from 2014. In May this live project was supposed to be held at the Yokohama Arena in Kanagawa but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it was canceled. This upcoming release of the single “KING&KING” was supposed to also be released at the same time as the live performance; instead, the release of the collaboration track “FLY LIKE A DRAGON” got scheduled for July 24th where LDH announced the release of the single “KING&KING” at the conference before they debuted the music video for “FLY LIKE A DRAGON”.

The single will be available on October 7th in two editions: a CD+DVD Limited Edition and a CD-standard edition. The CD+DVD Limited Edition will feature the music videos for “FLY LIKE A DRAGON” and “AFTER PARTY”. Both editions will come with a total of four tracks. Da-ICE Shows They Are Just Dreamers With Upcoming Single!

Popular five-member boy group Da-ICE announced they will be dropping a brand new single, “DREAMIN’ ON”, August 26. Part one of their promised six-month consecutive release, this release will be latest since their album FACE back in April and will be their eighteenth single overall. The group also announced that the track will be used as the next theme song for long-running pirate anime ONE PIECE.

The single will drop with three editions: a CD-only standard edition and two CD+DVD limited editions simply titled Type A and Type B. Keeping on the ONE PIECE train, Type A will include a cover of the hit track “We Are!” as its B-side track along with the music video of “DREAMIN’ ON” and footage from their TV special THE SENSE OF SIGHT on the DVD. Type B’s DVD will include a special medley of “DREAMIN’ ON” and footage of their solo recording from the B-side of this edition, “FIVE 2020”.

Nana Mizuki Announces 40th Single!

Popular voice actress and vocalist Nana Mizuki has announced that she will be releasing her 40th single on October 7th! The title of the single is to be determined, however, it will be a double A-side and include “FIRE SCREAM” as one of the leading tracks. “FIRE SCREAM” is being used as the theme song for the smart phone game “Senki Zesshou Symphogear XD UNLIMITED” which is related to the anime of the same name. Nana-san also happens to be a seiyuu for the “Senki Zesshou Symphogear” franchise and voices the character of Tsubasa Kazanari. She has also sung the theme songs for the anime series and the smart phone games for the franchise. “FIRE SCREAM” was composed by Noriyasu Uematsu, written by Nana Mizuki, and arranged by Daisuke Kikuta. Noriyasu Uematsu has also composed the theme songs for the anime series Sympogear. More information on Nana-san’s 40th single will be announced later along with pre-order links!
