EMPiRE Shows Off their Sound Once Again With Latest Release!

Teasing their upcoming EP SUPER COOL EP, popular six-member idol group EMPiRE released the track “This is EMPiRE SOUND” on all digital music streaming platforms. This is the latest song released by the group since “SUPER FEELING GOOD” back in April and is the second digital release done in 2020 leading up to the newly released EP. Continuing the trend of using tracks that include the group’s name in the title, EMPiRE hopes “EMPiRE is COMiNG” and “EMPiRE original” become tracks that are great jumping points for new fans. The group has also released the music video on their YouTube channel. 

Super Cool EP is now available in three editions; a standard CD-only edition, a CD+DVD limited edition, and a cassette tape+Blu-ray limited edition. The DVD edition includes a clip of the GREAT PARTY EXCEPTION while the Blu-ray edition included both the GREAT PARTY EXCEPTION footage along with the GREAT JOURNEY ALBUM LiVE concerts that took place last year. BLYY Is In Motion With First Album!

Japanese hip-hop crew BLYY announced they will be dropping their first album, Between man and time crYstaL poetrY is in motion., July 22. BLYY was formed in 2001, its members having roots in Tokyo’s Ikebukuro. The crew consists of KIYAHEAD, alled, CLAY, DMJ, Dzlu, and DJ SHINJI. In addition to the announcement of their first album, BLYY went ahead and pre-released three of the new tracks: “OYKOT”, “Papersoul”, and “Black Nylon”. All three songs are currently available for streaming and the music videos for “OYKOT” and “Papersoul” are currently on YouTube!

「Between man and time crYstaL poetrY is in motion.」 will come in a CD-only standard edition with 27 tracks in total. It is currently only available for pre-order on Amazon Japan for international fans and is available for pre-order at retailers in Japan such as HMV and Tower Records, among others. THE BLUE HEARTS Strikes Again With Upcoming Best-of Releases!

In honor of celebrating their 35th year, popular four-member punk band THE BLUE HEARTS announced that they will be releasing a brand new best-of album titled ALL TIME BEST MEMORIALS II and a best-of single collection titled ALL TIME SINGLES ~SUPER PREMIUM BEST~ October 21. Continuing the trend of their thirtieth best-of album, ALL TIME MEMORIALS II will include a metallic and warner disc along with 42 tracks. ALL TIME SINGLES ~SUPER PREMIUM BEST~ will include all of their A- and B-side tracks from their 25-year career and will also include a DVD featuring 15 music videos. Tsubaki Factory Announces Seventh Single

Nine-member girl-idol-group Tsubaki Factory has revealed that they will be dropping a brand-new double-A side single titled “DanshaISM / Ima Nanji?” and is set to be released on September 30th. This will be the group’s seventh single! The announcement came via the group’s YouTube page through a video that was only available until July 5th at midnight. DanshaISM was written and composed by SCHOCK EYE. 

“DanshaISM / Ima Nanji?”  is being released in four editions total, two standard CD-only editions, and two limited editions that will come with a bonus DVD. The DVDs will feature two music videos and two dancing videos, no other details have revealed at this time. Pre-orders are up and posted below along with one of the songs off the group’s last single titled “Ishiki takai otome no jirenma” for anyone who wants to check them out.

CHANMINA Has A Guardian Angel On Her Side!

Japanese-Korean trilingual rapper, singer-songwriter, and Music Corner alumnus CHANMINA announced that her first single of the year titled “Angel” will be released September 9! “Angel” follows up on her previous double mini-album release in February, notebook -u- and notebook -Me-, and is a summer tune with a Latin flavored beat. It was produced by Ryousuke “Dr” Sakai, who has worked on several of CHANMINA’s previous tracks such as “CHOCOLATE” and “Never Grow Up”, and is being used as a tie-in song for Monster Energy Drink’s newest flavor called Monster Ultra Paradise 2020 Summer.

“Angel” will include a total of four tracks and come in two editions: a CD+DVD limited edition and a CD-only standard edition. The CD+DVD limited edition will include eight performances taken from CHANMINA’s PRINCESS PROJECT Vol. 4 that took place at Showa Women’s University Hitomi Memorial Auditorium in December 2019. An early reservation campaign for “Angel” began on July 7 and runs until August 18. If you pre-order your copy between these dates you will receive an original keychain!
