I Don't Like Mondays Is Enjoying Sunflowers With New Collaboration!

Japanese fusion rock band and Music Corner alumnus I Don’t Like Mondays announced a special collaboration with New York based rock band Great Good Fine Ok. Great Good Fine Ok have been fans of I Don’t Like Mondays for quite some time so this makes it a dream collaboration. The collaboration track will be titled “Sunflower” and it will be released on all digital platforms July 22. I Don’t Like Mondays wrote the lyrics to “Sunflower” while Great Good Fine Ok arranged and mixed it.

I Don’t Like Mondays also announced they will be doing their first paid streaming live July 15. The tickets will cost 3500 yen ($35) and there will be T-shirts available for purchase for the livestream. After the main performance an afterparty live will be available for Fanclub members to enjoy. It will include talks with the band and an audition video of their newest track “Sunflower” before it debuts! EMPiRE Announces "Super Cool" EP

Girl idol group EMPiRE revealed they will be releasing a brand new EP titled Super Cool EP which is set to be released August 5. The new EP will have seven total brand new songs, three of which written by MAYU EMPiRE, two by MAHO EMPiRE, and one by MiDORiKO EMPiRE.

Super Cool EP will drop in three editions including a standard CD-only edition, a CD+DVD limited edition, and a cassette tape+Blu-ray limited edition. With the DVD is included a clip of the GREAT PARTY EXCEPTION and the Blu-ray includes both the GREAT PARTY EXCEPTION footage along with the GREAT JOURNEY ALBUM LiVE concerts that took place last year. Marasy Brings in the Rainy Days With Upcoming Album!

Artist Marasy announced that they will be releasing a brand new album, Shinonome, September 30. The announcement for the album came during Mara Fes 2020 ONLINE LIVE which happened this past week. During the live, Marasy also dropped the design trailer for the album which was released on Marasy’s YouTube channel shortly after. The album will drop with twelve tracks and three editions including a Vocaloid heavy CD-only standard edition, a solo piano CD-only standard edition, and a 2 CD+DVD limited edition which come with both the Vocaloid heavy and solo piano editions of the album. The DVD will contain footage from her studio filmed live.

wasabi Soothes Fans to Sweet Sound Asleep With Latest Music Video!

The spicy rock duo wasabi released the music video for their track “sweet seep sleep” on Sony Music JP’s YouTube channel. wasabi, who comprises of Maguro Taniguchi  of KANA-BOON and Maisa Tsuno of Akai Kouen, brings fans a light-hearted composition which is a must-listen for fans of both bands. The track was composed and recorded remotely and its music video was drawn in full animation. PiXMiX Rings in Summer With Upcoming Release!

Six-member female idol group PiXMiX announced that they will release a brand new single, “タオルを回すための歌” (“Towel wo Mawasu Tame no Uta”), August 26. This will be their latest single since “Chocolate Regret” back in February and will be their third single overall. Taking on an upbeat summer composition, the members look forward to having their fans enjoy the track, even throughout this difficult time. Mine Kushita and Mayumi Kaneko tackled the composition while Kaneko took on the lyrics herself. 

The single will be released with two tracks along with their instrumentals. It will also drop with two editions: a CD-only standard edition and a CD+DVD limited edition; the DVD will include the music video for “Towel wo Mawasu Tame no Uta”.
