Ayumi Hamasaki Counts Down to the Promised Land in Live Blu-ray!

Japanese pop singer-songwriter, icon, and industry veteran Ayumi Hamasaki announced her latest Count Down tour, ayumi hamasaki COUNTDOWN 2019-2020 -Promised Land A-, will be released via Blu-ray August 26! Ayumi-san began her New Years COUNTDOWN concerts in 2000 at Yoyogi National Gymnasium in Tokyo and continued releasing them on DVD/Blu-ray until her COUNTDOWN 2014-2015 A Cirque de Minuit -Mayonaka no Circus. This will be the first time in three years Ayumi-san has released her COUNTDOWN tour on DVD/Blu-ray to celebrate New Years Eve and it was a celebration to capture her coming back to her “Sacred Place” to perform. Ayumi-san delivers a one-night premium show with overwhelming acts from all over the world including a full choir, strings, horns, unique stage production, and more!

Ayumi-san’s ayumi hamasaki COUNTDOWN 2019-2020 -Promised Land A- will come in four editions: a DVD, Blu-ray, a 2-CD + Blu-ray + GOODS FanClub, and a 2-CD + DVD + GOODS FanClub . Each release will include a total of 27 performances and many of Ayumi-san’s classics such as “Fly high” and “Boy's&Girls” along with newer tracks such as “how beautiful you are” and “Song 4 U”. The FanClub edition will include two additional CDs and original merchandise. The first press edition will come with a A5 sized postcard. Kirai Hiiragi Brings Hate In New Album

Vocaloid composer Kirai Hiiragi announced they will be dropping a brand new album titled Hateful August 26. Hateful is Kirai’s first album to be released and they released their first song via YouTube on January 10 of last year. 

Hateful is being released in a CD-only edition and will feature a total of thirteen songs. One of the songs on the album will be the song “Autophagy” which is posted below along with the pre-order link for the new album.

Hilcrhyme Becomes MC In New Album

Two-member hip-hop group Hilcrhyme announced their ninth album titled The MC and is set to drop on August 12th. The new album is based on the origin and attitude of Hilcrhyme. The song “Jijitsu Ai” featuring Izumi Nakasone is being used for the drama series Futari No Onna. 

The MC is being released in two editions total; a standard CD-only edition, and a limited edition that will come with a bonus DVD. The CD will feature a total of eleven tracks while the DVD will feature the music videos for “Jijitsu Ai” and “BE ZERO”. The full track-lising has yet to be revealed but the pre-orders are up and are posted below along with a small teaser for their making-of video for “Jijitsu Ai”.

lol work it out with Upcoming Release!

Music Corner alum lol released a brand new track titled “work it out” across all digital music streaming platforms. This is the first track released by the group since their album ‘lighting’ back in March and is their first digital release for 2020. Produced by Micro of the Reggae band Def Tech, the track boasts an impressive acoustic melody while conveying a powerful message, something that we all need during this crisis. Niji No Conquistador Show Their Summer Spirit In New Music Video

Girl idol group Niji No Conquistador have announced that they will be dropping their latest single titled “SUMMER TOHA KIMI TO WATASHI NARI!!” on September 16th. This single is part of the group annual tradition where they release a song for the summer and do a music video in swimsuits. Also on July 14th, there will be a live show to celebrate the group’s seven-year anniversary but no other details have been announced at this time. 

“SUMMER TOHA KIMI TO WATASHI NARI!!” will be released in two additions total, a standard CD-only edition and a limited edition that will come with a bonus DVD. Pre-orders are up and posted below along with the music video for “SUMMER TOHA KIMI TO WATASHI NARI!!” which is already out.
