Hot off the presses of the Oricon Weekly Chart, popular thirteen-member Korean boy group SEVENTEEN has reached the top of the album charts once again for their seventh mini-album Heng:garae. This was the third consecutive release to reach number 1 with You Made My Dawn:6th Mini Album and An Ode:SEVENTEEN Vol.3 previously making the top on 2/4/2019, and 10/14/2019 respectively. With the group achieving this feat for a third consecutive time they are the third international group to reach such an accomplishment in over 40 years with Simon & Garfunkel being the first in 1971 and the Bay City Rollers in 1977. SEVENTEEN commented on this record by saying all members are very happy and at the same time they thank all the CARAT (=SEVENTEEN fans) and everyone who supports them.

We at OTY congratulate SEVENTEEN for their achievement and look forward to their next release.  As we look forward to their upcoming release check out their chart toping single “舞い落ちる花びら” (“Mai Ochiru Hanabira”) below!
