SCANDAL Shows Fans What It's Like to Live in the City With Upcoming Release!

Four-member girl rock band SCANDAL announced that they will release a brand new track, “Living in the city”, across all digital streaming platforms. This will be the latest release by the band since their Kiss from the darkness album back in February and their first single release of 2020. The track was written and composed by bassist TOMOMI and it brings a mellow tempo song to match her own mellow style. To build up hype for the release the group also released a sample audio clip for “Living in the city” on their official YouTube channel (posted below)!

pararainy Shows Fans His Heart Break With Latest Music Video!

Up-and-coming vocalist pararainy announced that he released his first mini-album Lain across all digital music streaming platforms this past week. The mini-album will include his previously released single “約束” (“Yakusoku”) and will drop with six tracks total, several of which produced by prevalent rap producer Dead Spyro. To hype up the release even more, pararainy also released the music video for his track “Heart Break” on his official YouTube. Directed by West Hiro, it shows off an impressive representation of the vocalist’s skill and proves itself a great jumping-on point for new listeners.

ADDICTION Tells Fans Just Who They Are With Upcoming Release!

Five-member boy group ADDICTION announced that they will be releasing a brand new single, “Who are you?/ 005”, June 24. This comes off the heels of their chart-topping hit ”Further away/Destiny” from last October and will be the group’s second major label single overall. The single will drop with three tracks and a bombastic five editions: one CD-only regular edition, one CD + DVD special edition, and three CD + DVD limited editions lovingly called Types A-C. Each edition will include a different B-side track with the special edition DVD that will drop with two music videos instead of the limited edition’s one.

MASS OF THE FERMENTING DREGS Brings Songs to Fans With Latest Music Video!

Three-member rock band MASS OF THE FERMENTING DREGS released the music video for their track “うたを歌えば” (“Uta wo Utaeba”) on their official YouTube channel. Being released as a double A-side, “You / Uta wo Utaeba” is to be available exclusively on vinyl June 3 and, interestingly enough, due to COVID-19 concerns the music video didn’t involve the  members themselves. Its creative process involved stop-motion animation featuring art figures taking place of the members and even had them “performing” their respective instruments. The single will be released with only two tracks and will be the latest release by the band since their album No New World back in July 2018. 

Due to the uniqueness of this release there are no pre-order links internationally at the time of reporting, but it is currently available via Amazon JP. In the meantime check out the music video in question below!

AAAMYYY Invites Fans to Her Home With Latest Release!

Vocalist AAAMYYY announced that she would be releasing a brand new single, “HOME”, across all digital streaming platforms May 13. This was the latest release by the artist since her single “DAYZ” back in November of last year and was her first release of 2020. For the arrangement this time around she formed a super band consisting of Seijun Kato (MONO NO AWARE) on guitar, TENDRE on bass, and Ippei Sawamura (SANABAGUN) on drums.
