postman Stays Hopeful With Upcoming Album!

Four-member rock band postman announced that they will release their first album, HOPEFUL APPLE, July 1. This will be the latest release by the band since their EP 迷信 (Meishin) back in December of last year. The album will be released with thirteen tracks total and drop with only a CD-only standard edition. postman also announced that in order to celebrate the release of their album they will be holding a release tour fittingly titled HOPEFUL APPLE Release tour 2020『万有引力』(Banyuinryoku). The tour will be held from July 7 to October; however, due to the current crisis these dates might change.

osage Raises the Bar Once Again With Latest Music Video!

Three-member rock band osage released the music video for their track “Hertz” on Murffin discs official YouTube channel. Set to be part two of the band’s upcoming double A-side single “あの頃の君によろしく” (“Ano Gorono Kimi ni Yoroshiku”) / Hertz” dropping April 29, this will be the latest released from the band since their mini-album October which dropped in October of last year.

Living up to its name, the music video holds a high-paced composition with vocalist Kenta Yamaguchi’s high vocal and rhythmic skills to match, making this a great track to go wild for. The single will drop with only a CD-only standard edition which is able to be pre-ordered below. You an also view the music video in question!

Stray Kids Wants Their Japanese Debut to be On TOP!

Eight-member Korean boy group Stray Kids announced that they will debuting their first Japanese single, “TOP-Japanese Ver.-“, June 3. Both tracks, “TOP” and “SLUMP”, are currently being used for tor the action anime Tower of God as the opening and ending theme respectively. The group will pull out all the stops to make their Japanese debut a flashy one, as the single will drop with four editions including a CD-only standard edition, two limited editions, and one special edition. Lovingly called Type A and Type B, the two limited editions will both include a 24-page photo book with Type A including a behind-the-scenes making-of and Type B will include additional photos of the members. The special edition will include a special Tower of God themed packaging.

BLUE ENCOUNT Shows Fans They Are Indeed Blue With Latest Music Video!

Music Corner alum BLUE ENCOUNT released the music video for their track “Humming Bird” on their official YouTube channel. Released across all digital music streaming platforms on April 8, this was the latest release by the band since their single “Polaris” back in November of last year and it is currently serving as the opening theme for the basketball anime Ahiru no Sora. The music video was directed by Takuro Okubo and has BLUE ENCOUNT and model Haruna Kawaguchi painting the town blue, so to speak, all while showing the band’s explosive compositions, making this track a real head-turner for first-time listeners.

Yui Bring the Winds Under Sound of Smile With First Track!

The male idol group S.O.S! ~sound of smile~ released the design trailer for their track “風が吹く” (”Kaze ga Fuku”) on Stardust Productions’ official YouTube channel. S.O.S! ~sound of smile~ is comprised of members from idol group M!LK, SUPER★DRAGON, and Sakurashimeji, making this indeed a sixteen-member super group. The track was written and composed by industry veteran Yui from the band FLOWER FLOWER. Yui hints that this track was designed to be a fiery love song and noted that he even sat in during the recording session to maximize their vocal strength for the track.

“Kaze ga Fuku” will be released digitally in May. Until then check out the preview below!
