Chapman Brings a Creed to Latest Music Video!

To celebrate the release of their first EP CREDO, Music Corner alum Chapman released the music video for their track “Over the rain” on their official YouTube channel. Mixing that fusion R&B with rock, the track is a great introduction for new listeners and reassures existing fans that their style will keep evolving. Directed by Masaki Shinozuka, the track goes all out with amazing cinematic camera composition, making their third music video a memorable one. CREDO, which just released April 15, was the band’s first physical release and features six tracks total with a CD-only standard edition.

Mrs. Green Apple Celebrates Five Years With Double Release

Rock band Mrs. Green Apple announced they will be dropping their fifth album titled 5 on July 8. July 8 will mark the band’s five-year anniversary since they debuted back in 2015 and 5 will be the band’s first greatest hits album. Attitude was the last album Mrs. Green Apple released which was on October 2, 2019. The new album will have a total of nineteen tracks which will be in the order they were released. 

5 is being released in three editions: a standard CD-only edition, a limited edition which will come with a bonus DVD, and finally a limited pressing edition which will come with a bonus DVD, Blu-ray, and T-shirt. 

Also on July 8 Mrs. Green Apple is releasing their concert at the Yokohama Arena held on December 8, 2019. This was from their very first arena tour which was titled Eden no Sono, held last year. The release, Eden No Sono Live at Yokohama Arena 2019.12.08, will be available in four editions. Two editions will be standard editions which are either DVD or Blu-ray and two limited editions which will also come in DVD and Blu-ray. The limiteds will also include a bonus 40-page color photo book. Pre-orders are up for both 5 and Eden No Sono Live at Yokohama Arena 2019.12.08 (posted below) along with the complete track listings for both. Oil and Lacqure Mixes Very Well With Latest Music Video!

On the eve of their upcoming release, vocalist Jambo Lacquer and Olive Oil released the music video for their track “Eutherma” on Oil’s official YouTube channel. This will be one of the lead tracks for their upcoming collaboration album OIL LACQUER which you can look out for April 15. The track has an interesting take on the urban style and Oil takes a somewhat simple composition, tweaking it just slightly to convey a more nostalgic melody. This paired with Lacquer’s extremely smooth vocals, the track is sure to ensnare any new listeners to become invested with any of their future songs. 

The album will be released with fifteen tracks, several of which both Oil and Lacquer collaborated on for over a year. The album will include songs from the recently released SAKIGAKE EP which landed in February. The album will also have two editions, a CD-only standard edition and a vinyl limited edition, the latter of which will be available two weeks later on April 29.

Also scheduled for release April 15 is Olive Oil’s own solo album ROLLIN’710  which will also boast a fifteen-track total. It will only feature a CD-only standard edition. Oil commented, “With this project I decided to take a more international stance with several of the compositions and I hope that fans will look forward to this release as well.”

Cutemen Flings Fans Toward the Future With Upcoming Track!

As a tease for their brand new album 2121, electronica duo Cutemen released a preview for their track “2121” on their official YouTube channel. The track, which will be releasing digitally April 15, is set to be the lead track for the duo’s upcoming album 2121. The album was originally set for release May 27 but had its date changed (currently unknown) due to the ongoing crisis. However, as this album will be celebrating the duo’s twenty-fifth anniversary in the music industry, Cutemen didn’t want to let their fans down and leave them empty-handed. They decided to release the lead track across all digital streaming platforms to hype up the release even more. 2121 will be their latest album since Exhibition Of Love & Desire  (September 2017).

SILENT SIREN Holds Off Celebrating Upcoming Album!

Popular four-member girl rock band SILENT SIREN announced that they will release a brand new album, mix10th, September 2. To celebrate the group’s tenth anniversary in the Japanese music industry, the album was originally set for release May 13, but due to the desire to celebrate this monumental occasion with their fans the band decided to delay the release. The album will be the latest release by the band since their digital EP HERO back in December of last year and will be their eighth album overall.

mix10th will include thirteen tracks total, one of which will have voice actress Aimi from BanG Dream!’s band Poppin’Party collaborating with SILENT SIREN once again, since their “NO GIRL NO CRY” single last July. The album will be available in two editions, a CD-only standard edition and a CD + DVD limited edition, the DVD including footage from the band’s end of the year live HERO, which took place at Kanagawa’s Yokohama Cultural Gymnasium in December.
