Yuka Iguchi Looks Clearly Towards Her Future With Upcoming Album!

Coming off the successful release of her latest single “HELLO to Dream”, popular voice actress-turned-vocalist Yuka Iguchi announced that she will release a brand new album, clearly, July 15. This will be the latest album release by Iguchi since Love back in November 2017 and her fourth album overall.

Not much is known about the album except that it will be released with the opening theme song for the anime Lostorage incited WIXOSS, “Lostorage”, and the ending theme for A Certain Magical Index, “革命前夜” (“Kakumei Zenya”). It will feature fourteen tracks total. The album will also be available in two editions, a CD-only standard edition and a CD + Blu-ray limited edition. The Blu-ray will include music videos for thirteen tracks along with a making-of with behind-the-scenes footage for the album.

I DON'T LIKE MONDAYS Hints How It's Our Fault in Upcoming Release!

Music Corner alumnus I DON’T LIKE MONDAYS announced that they will be releasing a brand new track, “全部アナタのせいなんだ” (“Zenbu Anata no Seinanda”), on all digital streaming platforms May 6. This will be the latest release from the band since their song “Plastic City” back in February and will be their first Japanese titled track. Writer of the track, vocalist Yu commented, “We wrote the song to be upbeat and carefree so our listeners will be able to take their minds off of the current crisis.”

flumpool Tries to Be Real With Fans With Upcoming Album!

Four-member rock band flumpool announced that they will be releasing a brand new album, Real ,May 20. This will be the latest release by the band since their single “素晴らしき嘘” (“Subarashiki Uso”) back in February and will be their fifth album overall. Eagle-eyed fans will notice this as an unofficial sequel to the band’s first mini-album, Unreal (2008), as the cover for Real is the same, albeit with some updates.

The album will feature thirteen tracks and drop with two editions, a CD-only standard edition and a CD + DVD + Booklet limited edition. The DVD will include the entirety of their ninth tour Command Shift Z stop In Kanagawa’s Pacifica Yokohama which took place last September.

SUPER BEAVER Gives Fans a New Highlight With Major Label Debut!

Four-member pop rock band SUPER BEAVER announced that they signed with major label Sony Music Records and will release their first major label single, “ハイライト / ひとりで生きていたならば” (“Highlight/ Hitori de Ikiteitanaraba”), June 10. While this is their fifteenth year in the Japanese music industry, the band hopes to take the genre to the next level while signing with the label and wishes their fans will join them along for the ride. The surprise doesn’t stop there, as on their official YouTube channel they have already released a preview for “Highlight”.

The single will feature three tracks and drop with two editions, a CD-only standard edition and a 2-CD-only limited edition. The second CD will include live concert audio rips for several tracks across several years of the band’s history, making this a great jumping-on point for new fans.

Zutomayo Announces Third Mini-Album

Rock band Zutto Mayonaka de Iinoni, also known as Zutomayo, revealed they will be releasing their third mini-album, Hogaraka na Hifu tote Fufuku, August 5. Zutomayo got started in 2018 and is a super secretive group with no official member list ever being announced; they credit different people for their music, arrangements, and music video production for each release. There is one recurring member, however: an unknown vocalist who goes by the moniker “ACA-NE” (“ACAね”), pronounced “akane”.

Hogaraka na Hifu tote Fufuku is being released in two editions, a standard CD-only edition and a limited edition which will come with a bonus CD and a manga. The first disc will include six new tracks with a bonus track which will be unique depending on which edition you buy. The bonus CD with the limited edition will feature another six tracks for new songs which will be instrumental only. The full track listing has yet to be revealed but pre-orders are up and posted below along with their latest music video, for their song “Justice”.
