Akari Haneda Shows it’s No Time Like the Present With Latest Release!

Up-and-coming vocalist Akari Haneda announced that she just released her mini-album 0時0分0秒 (0 Ji 0 Bun 0 Byo) across all digital music streaming platforms. Originally the physical copy for the mini-album was sold exclusively during her release tour at Nishi-EifukuJAM in Tokyo last December, making the digital release a godsend for fans who weren’t able to participate. The mini-album, which originally dropped with six tracks, will include an exclusive seventh track for its digital release.

Awesome City Club Shows Fans Their Vital Signs With Latest Music Video!

Ahead of their April 29 release, four-member rock band Awesome City Club dropped the music video for their upcoming track “Vital Signs” on their official YouTube channel. This one is set to be one of the lead tracks for their upcoming album Grow apart. The band hits the ground running by not only releasing the music video, but also the track, across all digital music streaming platforms. Turning fans’ expectations on its head once again, “Vital Signs” is an upbeat track brought to life through onion skin animation, which might seem unique to modern animation, but it’s those certainly out of the box ideas that bring the best out of Awesome City Club.

Grow apart will feature eleven tracks total and be the latest album release by the band since Catch The One last December and will be their second album overall since signing with Avex back in 2015. The album will drop with two editions including a CD-only standard edition and a CD + Blu-ray limited edition. The Blu-ray will include the entirety of their Awesome talks -Nice Buddy Tour 2019 tour which took place at Shibuya WWW X live house last December.

Mizuki Ohira Shines Bright Under the Moonlight With Latest Music Video!

Ahead of her upcoming album release, vocalist Mizuki Ohira dropped the music video for her track “Moonlight feat. Bito Nanaota” on Spincoaster’s official YouTube channel. This song is set to be one of the lead tracks for IN ANY WAY, which will be released April 29. Here, Ohira brings out her calming vocals along with singer-songwriter Bito Nanaota, who complements her in every way. “Moonlight” was written by both Ohira and Nanaota, with Ohira taking composition duty. 

The album is to feature twelve tracks, a majority of which written by Ohira herself. This will also be the latest release from her since her single “Eternal My Room” back in December of last year and will be her fifth album overall. IN ANY WAY will feature a CD-only standard release which you can pre-order below. Also, be sure to watch the music video for “Moonlight”!

EGOIST Teams Up With M2U For New Single

Pop music duo EGOIST is teaming up with popular Korean composer M2U for a brand new single titled “Saigo No Hanabira (The meaning of love)”, which came out on April 13. The new song combines melancholic piano melodies with ephemeral, powerful vocals by Chelly. Ryo from rock band supercell has produced every song for EGOIST since the group’s inception, but for this track Ryo worked much more as a general supervisor. The new single is only available on digital platforms but if you want to get a taste for EGOIST then be sure to check out their song “Welcome to the *fam” in the video below.

SHE IS SUMMER Wants to Meet the Beautiful Side of You in Latest Music Video!

Music Corner alum SHE IS SUMMER released the music video for her latest track “綺麗にきみをあいしてたい” (Kirei ni Kimi wo Aishitetai”) on her official YouTube channel. Kicking off her fourth anniversary with her SHE IS SUMMER solo project, MICO brings out her upbeat and quirky self with this one. Composed by the brother-sister unit Plastic Plastic and written down by both MICO and Sho Yamamoto, “Kirei ni Kimi wo Aishitetai” brings fans the MICO they love with a unique composition paired with a bubbly vocal style.
