RAISE A SUILEN Approaches New Stage!

Bushiroad’s multimedia project BanG Dream! announced that they will be taking a different creative path, as they will be adapting this project as a stage show starting July 15-19 across nine showings. Dubbed BanG Dream! The Stage, Bushiroad will be adapting the beginning legacy for their band RAISE A SUILEN and how they intertwine with the overall story of the BanG Dream! franchise. This particular stage show will be titled We are RAISE A SUILEN and all five members of the band will reprise their roles for the show, along with several more guests planned to appear during the performance.

No other additional information about the stage show is available at the time of reporting. However, tickets will start at 9,500 Yen with a S and SS seating arrangement made for purchase, and they will be made available via lottery system. With this will be the chance to enter via buying RAISE A SUILEN’s fourth single “DRIVE US CRAZY” which was released this past January.

Ayaka Sasaki Brings it Together With First Solo Album!

Member of the popular female idol group Momoiro Clover Z, Ayaka Sasaki announced that she will breaking off on her own by releasing her first solo album,  A-rin Assort, June 11. For fans of Sasaki this date is a memorable one as it doubles as her birthday, and Sasaki plans to celebrate this monumental occasion with her fans. Not much is known about the album except that it will be released with two editions, a CD-only standard edition and a CD + Blu-ray limited edition. Sasaki also announced that she will hold a special solo live called AYAKA NATION 2020 on July 12 at the prestigious Yokohama Arena in Kanagawa.

milet Shows Fans Her Love With Latest Music Video!

Music Corner alum milet released the music video for her track “The Love We’ve Made” on her official YouTube channel. This is set to be one of the lead tracks for her upcoming first album eyes which is set for release May 13. The song is produced by Toru of rock band ONE OK ROCK fame and possesses a more vocal heavy melody which milet is known for; however, there’s a bit of a nice twist to it, as it features a beautiful acoustic guitar composition.

As previously reported, eyes will come in three marvelous editions: CD + Blu-ray limited edition Type A, CD + DVD limited edition Type B, and a CD-only regular edition. The CD + Blu-ray limited edition Type A will feature milet’s music video collection and footage from her first live tour! The CD + DVD limited edition Type B will only feature her music video collection. If you order early, CD Japan has a first press bonus poster which will come with a copy of her album, too!

CUBERS Steps Up to the Major Leagues With Upcoming Album!

Five-member male idol group CUBERS announced that they will be releasing their first major label debut album, MAJOR OF CUBERS, June 24. The single is to drop with their previously released major label singles “WOW”, “Major Boy”, and recently revealed track “Twilight”—CUBERS looks to hit the ground running even more so this time. With this upcoming thirteen track album, the group hopes to appeal to all genres through their collaboration with funk band Zainichi Funk with the track “全然今しかない” (“Zenzen Ima Shikanai”). MAJOR OF CUBERS will be available in two editions, a CD-only standard edition and a CD + 2-DVD limited edition. The DVDs will include footage from the music videos for several tracks on the album along with footage from their CUBERS’ weekly show on the other DVD.

Aiko Yamaide Pierces Fans' Hearts With Upcoming Single!

Vocalist Akio Yamaide announced that she will release a brand new single, “Pierce”, April 29. This will be the latest release by the artist since her single “夏の恋の終わり” (“Natsu no Koi no Owari”) back in July of last year and will be her fourth single overall. Written and composed by the duo of Tousaka Megu and Takayuki Ota respectively, the track is dubbed one to “pierce” the industry with Yamaide’s vocals.

The single will be released with five tracks through only a CD-only standard edition. Check out Yamaide’s latest lyric video for the B-side track “3月なんて” (“SanGatsu Nante“) along with the pre-order link for “Pierce” below!
