SIRUP Shows Fans His Love With Latest Music Video!

To celebrate the release of his EP CIY, Music Corner alum SIRUP released the music video for his track “Your Love” on his official YouTube channel. Changing it up from his usual affair, SIRUP goes all out with a full support band in a luxurious plaza. CIY was the latest release by SIRUP since his album FEEL GOOD back in May of last year and is his third EP overall. The EP was released with seven tracks total and two editions, a CD-only standard edition and a CD + DVD limited edition. The DVD included footage from his FEEL GOOD TOUR 2019 that took place in Tokyo’s LIQUID ROOM live house last year.

FAKY Brings the Half Moon Out!

Japanese pop group and Music Corner alumnus FAKY dropped the music video for their latest single “half-moon” March 22. The digital single itself was released on platforms on February 26 and is an emotionally power charge ballad written by Lil’ Fang, UTA, and Yohei. It was also Lil’ Fang’s first attempt at writing her own lyrics.

“half-moon” boasts a gorgeously shot video filmed in Madrid, Spain that helps to convey the girls’ feelings. The single serves as a beautiful follow-up to their GIRLS POWER -trilogy- which consists of “GIRLS GOTTA LIVE”, “NEW AGE”, and “Antidote”. You can check out the video below!

Misaki Iwasa Has A Blue New Single

Misaki Iwasa has announced her ninth single titled “Migite to Hidarite no Blues” and is set to drop on April 22nd. Misaki Iwasa is a former AKB48 member but is now an enka singer, releasing her first solo single all the way back in 2012.

“Migite to Hidarite no Blues” is being released in three editions total; a standard edition that will be CD-only, a limited edition that will come with a bonus DVD, and finally a Umi Monogatari Collabo Edition that will also be CD-only. Each edition comes with a unique track for the B side with the standard edition coming with “Niji wo Watatte”. The limited edition comes with “Genki wo Dashite” and the Umi Monogatari Collabo Edition will feature “Futari no Umi Monogatari” for its B-side track. Pre-orders are up and are posted below.

Akari Kito Announces Stylish Debut Album

Voice Actress turned singer Akari Kito has announced she will be releasing her debut album titled Style and is set to be released on May 27th. Akari has voiced several anime characters over the years but is probably best known for her role in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba where she voiced the character Nezuko Kamado. Back in 2019, Akari released two singles under Pony Canyon, the first single was titled “Swinging Heart” and the second titled “Desire Again”.

Style is being released in two editions total; a standard CD-only edition and a limited edition that will come with a bonus Blu-ray. The limited edition will also come with a photo book and the Blu-ray will feature a behind the scenes look at Akari’s music videos of her first two singles. Pre-orders are up and are posted below along with Akari’s single “Desire Again”.

ReoNa Announces New Single For Popular Anime

Japanese musician ReoNa has announced she will be releasing a brand-new single titled “Anima” and is set to be released on May 20th. “Anima” is going to be used as the new opening for the second season of SWORD ART ONLINE: Alicization War of Underworld. ReoNa has a history with SWORD ART ONLINE having provided several themes for the huge franchise already. “Hopefully the opening theme "ANIMA" will reach your hearts, with their hearts and souls stumbling, being hurt, and still traveling their way.” she states. 

“Anima” is being released in three editions total; a standard edition that will be CD-Only, a limited edition that will come with a bonus DVD, and finally a limited pressing edition that will come with a bonus DVD along with a bonus track on the CD. The bonus track on the limited pressing edition is "Scar/let", the opening for the game Sword Art Online Alicization Lycoris. The limited pressing edition will only be available until August 31st. Pre-orders are up and are posted below along with ReoNa’s latest single “Null”, another track used by SWORD ART ONLINE.
