Awich Promotes New Album With Brainwashing!

Japanese female rapper and Indie Corner veteran Awich dropped her latest music video for her song “Sen’nou (Brainwashing) feat. DOGMA & CHINZA DOPENESS”. The track is featured on Kujyaku, Awich’s second full-length album, which was released January 11. It features the previously released songs “NEBUTA”, “Kami Hikouki (Paper Airlplane)”, “Gangsta”, “Open It Up”, and more, totaling to 20 tracks! “Sen’nou (Brainwashing)” is a heavily hip-hop track featuring two indie rappers, DOGMA and CHINZA DOPENESS, and it was produced by Chaki Zulu who has played a role in many of Awich’s songs.

Jin Akanishi Gives Fans His Best!

Japanese vocalist, songwriter, producer, actor, and former KAT-TUN member Jin Akanishi unveiled his first greatest hits album OUR BEST which is set for release April 22! OUR BEST will include a total of 32 songs spread between two discs. The first disc is titled “YOUR BEST”, as it features tracks that were chosen by members of Jin-san’s Fanclub. The second disc, “MY BEST”, will contain songs chosen by Jin-san himself. The regular edition holds its own, as it will contain two bonus tracks which will not be included on the limited edition versions. The track listing will have songs from Jin’s career with Go Good Label along with tracks before his solo career which will be re-recorded and remastered.

OUR BEST will come in three types which span over five editions in total. Type A Limited Editions will come in CD + Blu-ray and CD + DVD editions which will include 12 music videos. Type B Limited Editions will also come in CD + Blu-ray and CD + DVD editions which will include a documentary which tracks five years of Jin’s solo career and includes the MCs from his concert tours. As mentioned earlier, the CD-regular edition will include two bonus tracks: “But I Miss You” and the new track “Alone”. All editions will include 32 tracks spread between two discs.

Rei Yasuda Gives Fans A Glimpse Into Re: I

Japanese pop vocalist Rei Yasuda gives fans a glimpse into her upcoming third album Re: I with a teaser trailer. The trailer includes samples of all 12 tracks from Re: I, which will be released March 18. The full track listing and covers have also been revealed. AliA Keeps Their Eye On the Prize With Latest Music Video

Six-member Brock band AliA released the music video for their upcoming track “eye” on their official YouTube channel. Dropping March 11, “eye” will be the latest release by the group since their mini-album realize back in September of last year and will be their first single. Pulling no punches, AliA partnered up with famed videographer Takayama Tada of DA PUMP “USA” fame to show off a once in a lifetime experience that is a must-see for fans.

“eye” will be released with three tracks total and drop with two editions including a standard CD-only edition and a CD + DVD limited edition.

BananaLemon Drops Special Dance Practice Video!

Japanese R&B fusion girl group BananaLemon dropped a special dance practice video for their song “JOYRIDE (#SorryNotSorry pt. 2)” February 13th. This dance practice video showcases their newest member, Lety, who joined the group last April and was not a member when the track originally landed on December 17, 2018. The lead rapper of the group, Lety made her debut in their song “#slayasian” which was released on April 29, 2019. This hot track puts her rap skills on full display.

Fittingly for a dance heavy track, the video for “JOYRIDE (#SorryNotSorry pt. 2)” showcases BananaLemon’s amazing choreography and gives Lety a chance to play a part in one of the older hits. You can check out this song, among other hits by the girls, on iTunes, Apple Music, and Spotify.
