Amazarashi Organizes Boycott With New Album

Rock band Amazarashi announced they will be dropping their first album in over two years. The new album will be titled Boycott and is set to drop March 11. Boycott will have a total of fourteen songs and will be Amazarashi’s fifth album overall. Included will be “Sayonara Gokko”, which was released last February 13.

The new album will be available in three editions: a standard CD-only edition, a limited edition Type A which comes with a bonus CD and Blu-ray, and a limited edition Type B which comes with a bonus CD and DVD. The full content of the Blu-ray and DVD has yet to be revealed but is expected to feature music videos and live performances; also, it has not been revealed what will be on that second CD for the limited editions. Pre-orders will be posted below along with Amazarashi’s song “Sayonara Gokko” so you can get a small preview of what to expect on the upcoming album.

Coff Introduces Fans to New Friend in Latest Music Video!

To pair with his latest digital release, vocalist Coff dropped the music video for his track “Mr.Cee” on his official YouTube channel. Playing with the idea of perspective, the track “swipes” to new scenarios which Coff is in, featuring amazing compositions he is known for. Currently “Mr.Cee” is available on all digital platforms.

Coff also announced that he will be appearing at THR MOSH PARTY’s Void Storage live event on March 7 in the Socore Factory live house in Osaka along with the Paris, Teganuma, Shimokita-zawa Pass Festival on March 15 in the fabled Shimokita-zawa THREE live house in Tokyo.

UVERworld Announces New Theme Song For Upcoming Movie

Rock band UVERworld revealed they will be dropping a brand new single March 4 titled “AS ONE”. “AS ONE” is being used as the main theme for the movie Kamen Ward which is set to be released March 6.

The single is being released in two editions total including a standard edition which will be CD-only and a limited edition which will come with a bonus DVD. The DVD will feature a documentary on UVERworld’s Tokyo Dome performance from last December. Pre-orders are posted below along with a preview for Kamen Ward if you are interested.

Music Corner alum Nakigoto announced that they will be releasing a brand new single, “sasayaki”, March 25. This will be the latest release from the duo since their mini-album 夜のつくり方 (Yoru no Tsukurikata) back in September and will be their second single overall.

“sasayaki” will drop with three tracks total and will be released with a CD-only standard edition. Nakigoto also announced that they will be holding a small release tour for the single starting April 10 through May 29 (details at right).

Hinatazaka46 Shows Off Luxury Hotel Suite in New Music Video

Idol group Hinatazaka46 released the music video for their upcoming single “Sonnakoto Naiyo” which is set to be released February 19.

The new music video for “Sonnakoto Naiyo” takes place entirely in a hotel suite and starts off with everyone in pajamas and one member waking up in a bed. The camera then begins panning around the room and we see each of the girls performing ordinary tasks as they get ready for the day. We continue to follow different members around the suite; they are mostly dancing in various rooms. The whole video is done in a single tracking shot with no cuts. It will be posted below so everyone can check it out for themselves. “Sonnakoto Naiyo” is being released in four editions total: one edition will be a standard CD-only edition and three editions will come with a bonus Blu-ray.
