Ai Otsuka Brings Special Album To Fans!

Japanese pop singer-songwrite, Ai Otsuka is bringing a live piano compilation album Aio Piano Arioso which will release March 11! Aio Piano Arioso comes hot on the tail of Otsuka’s latest Blu-ray release of Love is Born -16th Anniversary 2019- which was released on January 15! Aio Piano Arioso will contain a total of ten live piano tracks from her past tours which fans were able to vote on via online ballot. However, the track listing has yet to be released.

Aio Piano Arioso will grace fans with two lovely editions including a CD limited edition, which will come with a piano score, and a CD regular edition. Both editions are currently up for pre-order and CDJapan is offering a poster for the first pressing! Queen Bee Mixes It Up With New Album

Japanese rock band Queen Bee revealed for its upcoming BL album that each version will have a unique track listing. BL will be Queen Bee’s seventh album and it will drop February 19, which will mark nine months after their last album Ten which dropped last May.

BL is being released in three editions total including a standard CD-only edition and two different limited editions which will come with a bonus photo book. The limited editions are called “lily” and “rose” and both will feature unique cover art along with their own track listings. The full track listing for all editions is posted below along with pre-order links so you can grab the edition you are most interested in. Lastly, give their song “Hypnotize” a listen if you are curious about this band.

moumoon Bringing Special Live Blu-ray/DVD To Fans!

Japanese pop duo moumoon are bringing their FULLMOON LIVE SPECIAL 2019 -Chushu no Meigatsu, performed on October 6, 2019 at Kanagawa CULTTZ Kawasaki, to Blu-ray and DVD!! This will be moumoon’s last performance for some time, as during this special live YUKA (vocalist) and Masaki Kousuke (composer, guitarist, keyboardist) announced that they will be be retreating from live activities and concentrating on their songwriting.

FULLMOON LIVE SPECIAL 2019 ~Chushu no Meigatsu- is coming to fans in two beautiful editions: a Blu-ray and DVD. Both editions will have the same track listing and include a total of 24 tracks. If you are a member of moumoon’s FanClub, a limited edition is available exclusively via mu-mo shop which will include two Blu-rays and a CD, one Blu-ray featuring their concert and the other featuring a special bonus which includes two live videos. The CD will contain a new song, “Love Continues Everywhere”, which was only distributed via demo tapes.

Necry Talkie Tells Fans Recommendation of the North With New Music Video!

To celebrate the release of their major label debut, Music Corner alum Necry Talkie released the music video for their track “北上のススメ”  (“Kitakami no Susume”) on their official YouTube channel. Set to be a part of their major label debut album ZOO!! released this past week, “Kitakami no Susume” takes a more keyboard heavy composition mixed in with guitarist Asahi’s amazing picking skills. The track takes some inspiration from Tokusatsu songs of the 70s and 80s with a splash of modern Necry Talkie flair. The entire music video features a familiar Tokusatsu setting with a giant Mossa appearing at the end which will certainly attract fans to them even more so.

As previously reported, ZOO!!  will be released with eleven tracks and will also drop with both a CD-only standard edition and a CD + DVD limited edition. The DVD will include footage from their latest one-band live which took place back in August from Tokyo’s Mynavi BLITZ Live House.

Kaela Kimura Zig Zags Through New Mini-album!

Japanese singer, songwriter, actress, and model, Kaela Kimura, is bringing fans a treat with her latest mini album Zig Zag which will drop March 4! This will be Kaela-san’s second mini-album which is hot on the trail of her tenth studio album, Ichigo, which released July 2019 and commemorated her fifteenth year in the Japanese music industry. Several of the tunes on Zig Zag have been used as theme songs to popular Japanese drama and TV programs. Examples include “Wish upon a star” and “Good morning Sun” which were both used for parasports anime Parabadminton along with theme song “Good Luck” which will be used for TV Asahi dorama Aribai kuzushi uketamawarimasu (Alibi defeats you).

Zig Zag will include a total of five zig-mazing tracks and is coming to fans in three zig-tastic editions: a CD + DVD Limited Edition, CD + Tote Bag Edition, and CD-only Regular Edition. The CD + DVD Limited Edition will include Kaela-san’s 15th Anniversary Festival Movies while the CD + Tote Bag Edition will include an exclusive tote bag which is a Kaela Kimura x Kousuke Kawamura collaboration; it will come in a random color.
