sumika Helps Kids Find Sense of Wonder

Rock band sumika is in charge of the song being used in the Shinkenzemi 2020 campaign which started January 18. Shinkenzemi is a cram school in Japan. They chose sumika’s “Sense of Wonder” which will be on the upcoming Harmonize EP being released March 4. Harmonize EP is being released in two editions, a standard edition which will be CD-only and a limited edition which will come with a bonus DVD. Pre-orders are up and will be posted below along with the Shinkenzemi 2020 commercial so you can get a small taste of “Sense of Wonder”.

ClariS Signals Upcoming New Single

Pop duo ClariS revealed they will be releasing a brand new double A-side single, “Alicia/ Signal”, set to drop March 4. “Alicia” is being used at the main theme for the magical girl anime Magia Record: Mahou Shoujo Madoka☆Magica Gaiden. “Alicia / Signal” is being released in three editions total: a standard CD-only edition, a limited edition that will come with a bonus CD, and a limited anime edition which will come with a bonus DVD. The limited edition CD will feature an original story while the anime edition DVD will include the outro to the upcoming anime for fans to watch. Pre-orders are already up and will be posted below along with the full track listing.

DISH//'s New Mini-album Comes Full Circle

Boy group DISH// finally revealed the details of their new mini-album titled CIRCLE which is set to drop February 26. CIRCLE will contain a total of six tracks including “PM 5:30” which was written by the group’s own Takumi Kitamura. CIRCLE is being released in four editions total including a standard edition which will be CD-only, a limited edition that will come with a blanket, a limited edition Type A that will come with a bonus DVD, and a limited edition Type B that will come with a bonus CD. Maiko Fukagawa Announces Departure from HKT48

Maiko Fukagawa of HKT48 revealed that she will be graduating from the group with her last performance being on February 22. The reason Maiko is stepping down from the group is because she is wanting to concentrate on her education in order to become a dietitian. We want to wish Maiko the best of luck in her future endeavors and schooling.

Karin. Turns Back to a Simpler Time With Latest Album!

Up-and-coming vocalist Karin. announced that she will be dropping brand new album Melancholic Moratorium February 12. This will be her latest album since Identity Crisis back in last October and will be her second album overall. Albeit being a quick turnout since Identity Crisis, Melancholic Moratorium will be released with eight tracks total and will include recently released track “命の使い方” (“Inouchi no Tsukaikata”). The tracks were teased in her latest video on her official YouTube channel.
