Nana Mizuki will Knock U down with new video!

Japanese popular seiyuu and singer Nana Mizuki is knocking fans down with her latest music video “Knock U down” which just dropped to promote her latest album CANNONBALL RUNNING which hits shelves December 11! Not only did Nana-chan drop the video for the song but she just released two special promotional videos to push her latest album as well. The first video showcases the hit singles on the album such as “Knock u down”, “METONIA”, and “NEVER SURRENDER”. The second special video features her “NANA LABRATORY 2019” which was a special live concert held in March.

THIS IS JAPAN splurges after major announcement!

Four-member rock band THIS IS JAPAN announced that they will be making their major label debut with Ki/oon Music in 2020. The group shocked fans, stating that they bought a $4,000 guitar which was used for a live and that it was supposed to enhance their sound ten times more than what was normally possible due to its price. As fans were surprised at the amount spent on the instrument, the band announced that they were able to purchase it due to having just been signed to Ki/oon Music—with their first hit coming out next year. They also added that with the support of their fans their music will surpass previous feats a hundred times more!

Unfortunately THIS IS JAPAN has not made any announcements about their first major label release but they have announced that they will be holding a live tour titled THIS IS JAPAN TOUR 2020『We are WEEKENDERS!』. The tour will be held from February 11-March 14, 2020 and will run across nine prefectures. As fans are highly anticipating the band’s major label debut, check out their hit music video “TALK BACK” below!

Necry Talkie Shows the masses just how unique they are with latest music video!

Popular Music Corner alum Necry Talkie released the music video for their track “ぽんぽこ節” (“Ponpoko Bushi”) on their official YouTube channel. One of the lead tracks for their upcoming major debut album Zoo!!, releasing January 29, 2020, “Ponpoko Bushi” introduces the masses to their zany style. Entrenched with red lighting and the legendary Tanuki of Japanese legend, the music video brings listeners sights and sounds that have never been seen before. 

As previously reported Zoo!! will include hit tracks “深夜とコンビニ” (“Yoake to Conbini”) and “ボケナスのうた” (“Bokenasu no Uta”), and will total out to eleven tracks. The album will also drop with both a CD-only standard edition and a CD + DVD limited edition. The DVD will include footage from their latest one-band live which took place back in August at Tokyo’s Mynavi BLITZ Live House.

Toshiki Masuda Dives deep with a new album!

Popular voice actor-turned-vocalist Toshiki Masuda announced that he will releasing his first album, Diver, on January 8, 2020. Famously known as Reginald Kastle in the multimedia card game conglomerate Yu-Gi-Oh! from the ZEXAL series and Eijiro Kirishima in the popular super hero series My Hero Academia, Masuda just started his career as a solo artist with his track ”This One” back in March. The album will be used to bookend Masuda’s first year in the music industry and will be produced by popular composer Tsubasa Ito, with Esoramu of Setsuna Spiral fame producing on several key tracks as well. 

Releasing with eleven tracks total, Diver will include hit tracks like “This One”, “風にふかれて” (“Kaze ni Fukarete”), and rock tune “Diver”. The album will also drop with two editions: a CD-only standard edition and a CD+DVD limited edition. The DVD includes both the music video for “Diver” and the behind-the-scenes making-of. Masuda also announced that he will be holding two live events In Tokyo’s Zepp DiverCity and Osaka’s Matsushita IMPHall on March 8 and 14 respectively. However, the only way to be able to go to these events is through a lottery system that is only available for fans who bought the limited edition.

ORANGE RANGE to Broadcast 2019 Tour Live!

ORANGE RANGE, the popular Japanese five member band, who fuse together rock, hip-hop, and R&B announced they will be broadcasting their latest tour ORANGE RANGE LIVE TOUR 019 ～What a DE! What a Land! from the Osaka Orix Theater on December 22 at 18:00 JST (6pm JST).

The first half of the tour will be broadcast on YouTube Live while the whole concert can be viewed live on Nico Nico Douga. Links are below on where you can watch ORANGE RANGE’s latest tour!
