Ken Hirai brings brand new single!

Long-time Japanese staple and singer-songwriter Ken Hirai is dropping a new single December 4 titled “#302”. This will be Hirai’s 46th physical single and it is featured as the theme song to Japanese TV series Marigold in 4 Minutes.

“#302” will come in two editions, a CD + DVD limited edition and a CD-only regular edition. The CD + DVD edition will feature music videos for “#302” and “Ite mo Tatte mo” and two songs while the CD-only regular edition will come with three tracks. Nao Toyama runs full force toward her tenth anniversary with new single!

Popular voice actress Nao Toyama announced that she will be releasing a brand new single, “歩いていこう！”  (“Aruite Ikou!”), February 5, 2020. This will be the latest release by the actress since her album 群青インフィニティ (Gunjyo Infinity) back in April and will be used to kick off her tenth anniversary in the music industry, labeling it “part one” for this monumental occasion. It is also currently set to become the opening theme song for upcoming slice of life anime 恋する小惑星  (Koisuru Asteroid), which she also stars in.

Per the usual of anime tied songs, “Aruite Ikou!” will feature three tracks and drop with three editions: a standard CD-only edition, a CD + DVD limited edition, and a special CD-only anime edition. The DVD will include the music video for “Aruite Ikou!” along with the making-of while the anime edition will include a different third track titled “FLOWER”, in contrast to “Lost Thorn In My Side” for the standard and limited editions.

Beverly goes to Infinity and beyond with new album!

Filipina Japanese pop singer Beverly is bringing her third album INFINITY on December 4! INFINITY comes to us a year and a half after her second album 24 came out. It will feature hit songs “Everlasting Sky”, “Adventure”, “Endless Harmony”, and “Again”. Indeed, these are some star-studded tracks. “Everlasting Sky” was used for the film Kamen Rider: Build Be The One, “Adventure” for the theme of smartphone game Tales of Asteria, “Endless Harmony feat. LOREN” for the ending theme to popular adventure fantasy anime Fairy Tail, and “Again” for the opening theme to the 2019 adaption of popular shoujo anime Fruits Basket.

INFINITY will come in three gorgeous editions: a CD + Blu-ray, a CD + DVD, and a CD-only regular edition. While all editions will include twelve tracks, the CD + DVD and CD + Blu-ray editions will feature Beverly’s 2nd JOURNEY ‘24’ Tour 2018 held at Yoyogi Yamano Hall and the music video for her song “Toutoi”. SHISHAMO shows that sixth time's the charm with new album!

After a long hiatus of album releases, three-member rock group SHISHAMO announced a brand new album, SHISHAMO 6, scheduled for January 29, 2020. This is the latest, long-awaited album release from the group since SHISHAMO 5 back in June of 2018.

Set for release with thirteen tracks total, SHISHAMO 6 is currently known to be released through only a CD-only standard edition. Included on the album is popular track “君の隣にいたいから” (“Kimi no Tonarini Itaikara”) which, as previously reported, is set to become the title song for this year’s NHK All-Japan School Choir Competition for the middle school division, a feat only some artists manage to achieve. Future tracks will be announced at a later time so please look forward to any future updates.

Gu-GuLULU shows us a peek of their rooms with new music video!

Five-member up-and-coming idol group Gu-GuLULU released the music video for their single “ミ・セ・テ” (“Mi Se Te”) on their official YouTube channel. Released October 30, “Mi Se Te” was the latest single from the group since “回路” (“Kairo”) back in July and was the girls’ third single overall.

In this video we take a small sneak peek of the girls’ living style and are shown just how hard-working they are. “Mi Se Te” released with a CD-only standard edition which can be ordered in the link below. Also give the music video in question a watch!
