fumika comes back with brand new album!

Vocalist fumika announced that she will be dropping a brand new album October 23. Not much is known about this yet-to-be titled album as of the timing of this reporting, but it will be the latest album from fumika since her album POWER OF VOICE back in January 2015. It is also known that the album will include several of her latest sings such as “あなたのいない、この世界で。” (“Anata no Inai, Kono Seikai de.”) and “Story”. It will also drop with two editions, a CD-only standard edition and a CD + DVD limited edition with more information to be available at a later date. Kenshi Yonezu shows off more of his artistic side with new music video!

Popular vocalist Kenshi Yonezu dropped the music video for his already Oricon charting track “馬と鹿” (“Uma to Shika”) on his official YouTube channel. Being released physically September 11 and being attached to the highly anticipated TBS Sport’s drama No-side Game, “Uma to Shika” is already looking to be another record-breaking single from Yonezu. Director Tomokazu Yamada’s unique style is once again featured in Yonezu’s work as he took directing duties for “Uma to Shika”.  Yamada has worked with Yonezu in the past on his music video for popular tracks “Lemon” and “Flamingo” and he hopes to make another career-defining artist tone that Yonezu tries to convey with this upcoming track.

As previously reported, “Uma to Shika” will drop with three editions: a CD-only standard edition, a CD + DVD limited edition, and a CD + Pendant special edition. The DVD will include teasers of his concert "Sekitsui ga Opal ni Naru Koro" and the music video for “Umi no Yurei”. The special edition will include a whistle-shaped pendant based off of No-side Game and will include Yonezu’s logo printed on the jewelry.

Yuiko Ohara tells fans which stars to wish on with new album!

Vocalist Yuiko Ohara announced the release of her first album 星に名前をつけるとき (Hoshi ne Namae wo Tsukerutoki) for September 25. Hoshi ne Namae wo Tsukerutoki will be used to commemorate Ohara’s fifth year in the music industry and will be her first album. It is set for release with tracks from Ohara’s debut single ”Magic Parade” to her latest single “Zero Sentimental” and will total at sixteen tracks. Not much else is known about Hoshi ne Namae wo Tsukerutoki except that it will only be released with a standard CD-only edition.

Ohara also announced that she will hold a small live concert tour in honor of the release of the album. Lovingly called 星集め (Hoshi Atsume), the tour will head to four different locations and will be held from September 23 to November 9 (see right).

Hey! Say! JUMP shows fans their their next PARADE with new album!

After their Oricon charting hit “fanfare”, popular male idol group Hey! Say! JUMP announced that they will be dropping a brand new album, PARADE, October 30. This will be the group’s latest album since SENSE or LOVE back in August 2018 and will be their seventh full album overall. Hey! Say! JUMP hopes to entice fans with the otherworldly theme of “dreams” and “fascination” and will have PARADE be released with fourteen tracks. The album will also drop with three editions, a CD-only standard edition and two CD + DVD limited editions simply titled Type 1 and Type 2. Not much is different between the two limited editions as will both ship with a making-of and video clips of different songs exclusive to the edition. In true Johnny’s fashion the standard editions will have fans thinking twice about which editions to buy, as they will release with two additional songs, upping their track totals to sixteen.

m-flo has lost their humanity

Hip-hop sensation m-flo revealed they will be doing the main theme for the upcoming animated movie Human Lost. Human Lost is a science fiction movie that is a modern-day retelling of the 1948 short novel No Longer Human. m-flo has teamed up with J. Balvin to create a song that brings various different cultures together. J. Balvin is a singer from Colombia who is growing in popularity in the States and has worked with super-popular artists like Cardi B and Bad Bunny. The song will also be called “Human Lost” and is set to be released October 23. On the single, along with “Human Lost”, will be the latest ending for fantasy anime Black Clover and it will be titled “against all gods”. “Human Lost/ against all gods” will be released in a single CD-only edition.
