WANIMA goes all-out for second major label album!

After the success of their latest single “Summer Trap!!”, three-member rock band WANIMA announced they will dropping a brand new album titled COMINATCHA!! October 23. The announcement comes from a trailer released on the band’s official YouTube channel and features the members skydiving in extreme fashion.

This will be the latest album from WANIMA since Everybody!! back in March of last year, featuring hit songs such as “GONG”, “夏のどこかへ” (“Natsu no Dokoka he”), “Drive”, and their version of “ここに” (“Koko ni”), the track WANIMA had written for Johnny’s group Kanjani8. The album will include fifteen tracks total and two editions, a standard CD-only edition and a CD + DVD + photo book limited edition including a DVD lovingly titled “1 CHANCE DISC”. PENTAGON shows us what happiness looks like

Stuck in an office, dreaming of better days spent on the shore of a nice sunny beach. This is a sentiment many can relate to and is something that is captured so well in the new music video for “HAPPINESS” by Korean pop group PENTAGON. “HAPPINESS” flaunts fun, catchy tunes that really capture the spirit of enjoying the summer and the happiness it entails. This is PENTAGON’s second single that they will be releasing in the Japanese market. With this they will also be releasing the Japanese version of the group’s song “SHA LA LA” which also sports its own music video. “HAPPINESS / SHA LA LA” will be officially released August 21.

“HAPPINESS / SHA LA LA” is being released in four editions total, one standard edition and three limited editions. The standard edition will be CD-only featuring a total of three tracks: “HAPPINESS”, “SHA LA LA” (Japanese version), and “SEASONS”. Limited edition Type A will come with a bonus DVD and feature the music video for “HAPPINESS” along with a making-of video. The limited edition Type B will also come with a bonus DVD that includes the music video for “SHA LA LA” (Japanese version) and a making-of video. GLAY celebrates 25 years with new album

Rock band GLAY, who continues to celebrate 25 years, has announced they will be releasing a brand new album titled NO DEMOCRACY October 2. On August 17 GLAY held a one-man live at Saitama Met Life Dome which was called GLAY 25th Anniversary “LIVE DEMOCRACY”. The leader of GLAY came out and spoke about the new album, saying NO DEMOCRACY will be “a work that focuses on words” and “words without lies”.

NO DEMOCRACY is being released in two editions total, a CD-only edition and a CD with DVD edition. The CD will feature a total of fourteen tracks and the DVD will feature footage from GLAY’s 2019 live tour titled GLAY LIVE TOUR 2019 -SURVIVAL-Reiwa Saisho No GLAY To HEAVY GAUGE. Negicco shows their love with upcoming single!

As previously reported, three-member idol group Negicco announced that they will be releasing a brand new single September 24; however, now they finally revealed that it will be titled “I LOVE YOUR LOVE”, with its album art also being revealed. The single will be released with a total of three tracks and will drop with both a CD-only standard edition and a vinyl edition. The vinyl edition, however, will be released later, October 22. Several collaborators such as Gota Nishidera, Kuramubo of band NONA REEVES, and Negicco’s producer connie will be composing a track on the single.

Sayaka Yamamoto shows she's no Thorn in anyone's side with new single!

Popular vocalist Sayaka Yamamoto released a small preview for her upcoming single “棘” (“Toge”) on Universal’s Music Japan YouTube channel. As previously announced this will be Yamamoto’s second single since graduating from NMB48 and it is to drop September 4. “Toge” will be released with two tracks total with the B-side “feel the night”, a collaboration with artist Kai Takahashi of LUCKY TAPES. This brings a different feel of the songs Yamamoto previously released. The single will also drop with a standard CD-only edition and a CD + DVD limited edition. The DVD will include the music video for “Toge” along with a making-of featuring several new segments of footage. Not to be outdone by the limited edition, the standard edition will also include an additional third track titled “unreachable”.
