Drop's makes tiny ground

Four-member female rock band Drop’s announced they will be releasing a brand new album titled Tiny Ground which will drop September 20. Tiny Ground will be the first full album Drop’s has released in over three years and will be the band’s fifth album overall. Drop’s got started ten years ago and Tiny Ground will serve as a celebration of those ten years. The album is only to be released in a standard CD-only edition featuring a grand total of eleven tracks. You can pre-order your copy here.

To complement the new album there will also be a small tour that will be from October 23 to November 15 (full tour details below).

Superfly starts from 0 once again with new album!

Amidst the roar of the crowd and the blistering heat of this year’s Fuji Rock Festival, vocalist Superfly announced that she will be dropping a brand new album titled 0 later this year. The news came during her final set; she stated, “I’ve been writing a bunch of new songs and at the rate we are going it looks like it’s going to be a winter release!” Superfly also commented that she and her team will announce more information about 0 at a later date and also teased that her upcoming tour 「Superfly Arena Tour 2019 “0”」 starts August 21, featuring songs on the album.

Kiyoshi Hikawa is okay with new single

Enka singer Kiyoshi Hikawa revealed he will be releasing a brand new single titled “Daijobu / Mogami no Sendo” which will be released August 27. This release follows Kiyoshi’s project Shin, Enka Meikyoku Collection 9 Daijobu / Saijo no Sendo which came out June 4. “Daijobu / Mogami no Sendo” will serve as a celebration of Kiyoshi’s presence in the industry for twenty years now. The single is being released in three editions total, each CD-only but featuring its own unique cover art. There will be a total of nine tracks and each edition will feature its own track. Each edition will also include a melody music sheet and an application card. The full track listing will be posted below and pre-order links are right here.

Official HIGE DANdism are now travelers

Last month we reported on Official HIGE DANdism’s brand new album but at the time we didn’t have too much information regarding it—but now we know a lot more. The new album will be titled Traveler and will be released October 9. Traveler will be Official HIGE DANdism’s very first major studio album and is to be released in three editions total, a standard edition and two limited editions. The standard edition will be CD-only and will feature a total of thirteen tracks. The limited edition will not only come with the CD but also either a DVD or Blu-ray depending on which limited edition you pick up. However, both will feature the same content, a live recording of the group’s one-man tour held at NHK Hall this past January 24. Pre-order links are now available and posted here along with the full track listing for the Blu-ray/DVD and a list of which songs have been revealed to appear on the album—the full track-listing CD has yet to be fully revealed, though.

9mm Parabellum Bullet goes into the deep blue

Four-member rock band 9mm Parabellum Bullet revealed they will be releasing a brand new album titled Deep Blue which will be released September 9. Deep Blue comes two years after 9mm Parabellum Bullet’s last album Babel. The new album will also serve as a celebration for the band to commemorate their being together for fifteen years. 

Deep Blue will be released in three editions, a standard edition, limited edition, and vinyl edition. The standard edition will be CD-only while the limited edition will be CD + DVD and the vinyl edition will include only one disc. Pre-orders are available and the links will be provided.
