New GReeeeN album comes with CD player

Pop rock/hip-hop group GReeeeN revealed they will be releasing their ninth album, Dai Ku, September 25. It will be released in three editions; the standard edition will be CD-only while the limited edition Types A and B will both be CD + DVD. The DVD will feature a total of six music videos with some special extra content. Limited edition type A, however, will also include an original CD player—with batteries included! CHANMINA is back and she will Never Grow Up!

Japanese-Korean trilingual rapper and singer-songwriter CHANMINA showed up she will Never Grow Up with her latest release out August 7!  Never Grow Up will be her second album and her first full-length album since Miseinen debuted over two years ago!! It will contain several previous songs such as “Doctor”, “PAIN IS BEAUTY”, “I’m a pop”, and “Call”. Never Grow Up will contain fourteen tracks in total and will grace us with two editions. The limited edition includes a DVD with eight live tracks from CHANMINA’s concert held March 29 at Zepp Tokyo and it will also feature a bonus track exclusive to this edition.

Erika Nishi hopes to inspire fans with latest album!

After the successful release of her latest track “BITTER”, singer-songwriter Erika Nishi announced the release of her second album Love Me for October 2.The news came as a surprise announcement during her Make my day! vol.6 live event which took place at Tokyo’s WALL&WALL this past weekend. The album will be used to commemorate her fifth year as a solo artist. Nishi commented about the theme of the album, stating, “I wanted to convey the simple theme of ‘love yourself’ with this album and, while that might be fairly difficult at times, I hope that my songs will give you that feeling of love as my fans have done for me.”

Love Me will drop with recently released tracks “ROMANCE” and “BITTER” and feature ten tracks total. Like with several of Nishi’s previous releases, the album will be available through a CD-only standard edition. Unfortunately, though, there are no pre-order links as of now but we will update this space when there are. In the meantime check out her latest lyric video for “BITTER” below!

The FANTASTICS write to Destiny

The FANTASTICS from EXILE Tribe revealed their latest single following their big crossover with the other EXILE factions. The single will be titled “Dear Destiny” and is set for release August 21. “Dear Destiny” will also feature the English version of the FANTASTICS’ last single “Flying Fish”. You can look forward to two editions for this single; the standard edition will be CD-only while the other edition will be CD + DVD. The DVD will include a music video for “Dear Destiny” while the CD will feature a grand total of seven tracks (the full track list can be viewed below).

Kenshi Yonezu once again takes Most Sung song for Joysound karaoke machines for first half of 2019!

Popular karaoke company Joysound released the Top Thirty Popular Song Sung ranking for the first half of 2019. To no surprise, Kenshi Yonezu’s song “Lemon” took number one once again with five other tracks such as “Flamingo” and" “LOSER” scattered across the list. Newcomer Aimyon’s “Marygold” followed close behind him at number two with several of her tracks such as “Konya Kono Mama” making their debut on the list as well.

Other impressive feats on the list included DA PUMP’s loving hit “U.S.A.“ which jumped from seventeenth to sixth and HY’s fan favorite hit “366 Day” which spiked from twenty-eighth to tenth. back number’s breakout hit “HAPPY BIRTHDAY” ranked in the impressive twenty-first position and Johnny’s latest group King & Prince rose several positions with their song “Cinderella Girl”.
