We originally reported that Yuuma Meshida of KANA-BOON fame went missing this past weekend. According to Meshida’s family, no one had been able to contact him since June 5 and his family filed a missing person’s report for Meshida.

It was reported that Meshida returned safely home on the evening of the 15th and has been under care with family since then. Meshida’s bandmates visited him the day following his return and were told that he suffered no injuries. KANA-BOON will hold a meeting when Meshida returns to the band—at a later date.

As mentioned previously, KANA-BOON originally had a concert scheduled this past weekend to celebrate five years together, but due to the unfortunate circumstances the concert was canceled. We here at Ongaku To You send out our thoughts and prayers for Meshida’s well-being and hope for a speedy recovery.
