Airi Suzuki will release first physical single

Popular actress, singer, model, and radio personality Airi Suzuki will be releasing her very first physical single “Escape” September 4. Suzuki first debuted the song May 26 at a concert held at Shimizu Culture Center Marinato. It was written by Miho Karasawa and the composition was completed by Kazuhiro Hara.

“Escape” is being released in a staggering six editions. The standard edition will be released in a Type A, Type B, and Type C edition and they will be CD-only. The limited edition will also be released in a Type A, Type B, and Type SP and will include both a CD and DVD. You can pre-order your copy here.

Nogizaka46 goes big for sixth birthday

It was revealed that mega idol group Nogizaka46 is looking to celebrate their sixth year anniversary in a big way. Fans of the mega idol group will get to celebrate alongside them. Not only will Nogizaka46 be releasing a compilation of the first day of the celebration concert, but the second and third day are also getting independent releases. However, if you want all three days you can pick up the bundle pack. The official name of the release is 6th Year Birthday Live.

The giant celebration is being released in both a DVD format and a Blu-ray format. The bundles are being referred to as limited editions and will not only feature all three concerts but also a deluxe photo book and a clear file. You can pre-order your copy of 6th Year Birthday Live here.

TENDRE brings back the ALMIGHTY with LP version of first album!

Taro Kawahara’s solo vocalist project TENDRE announced that his first album NOT IN ALMIGHTY will be returning as an analog LP release June 19. The album was originally released in CD format back in October of last year and its LP version will drop with the same amount of tracks as in the original release, including ever-popular tracks “RIDE” and “hanashi”. Unfortunately, however, this version is currently unavailable for international release as of the time of this writing. In the meantime, the CD-only release is still available at the link below.

Nerd Magnet wants to disappear

Japanese rock band Nerd Magnet released a brand new music video to promote their brand new album 透明になったあなたへ (Tomei ni Natta Anata he), which will be released June 12. Tomei ni Natta Anata he is Nerd Magnet’s second full album and is the the latest release done by the band since their single Bad Reputation earlier this year. The new video is for  “「透明になろう」” (“Toumeininarou”),  which features an awkward couple on a date until the male character starts to disappear.

Tomei ni Natta Anata he will be drop with thirteen track total and will release in a single edition that will be CD-only. You can pre-order your copy of Tomei ni Natta Anata he here.

lol ropes in new member for upcoming single!

As previously announced, five-member multi-gender group lol will be dropping a brand new single—its title still unannounced—July 31. Included on the single will be track “brave up!!” which will see the debut of a brand new sixth member.

Being the group’s tenth single overall, “brave up!!” will incorporate a rock style dance tune. With this, lol hopes to inspire fans to go forth and grab hold of their inner courage and rise above all challenges. It will be used as the insert song for upcoming romance drama 「カカフカカこじらせ大人のシェアハウス－」(Ka Ka Fu Ka Ka Jirase Otona no Share House), which fellow B-side track “like that!!” will serve as the opening theme song for. As previously reported, B-side track “bring back” will also serve as the opening theme song for new kids’ series「ポチっと発明　ピカちんキット」(Pochitto Hatsumei Pikasan Kitto).

The new single will be released in two editions: a CD-only standard edtion and a CD + DVD limited edition.
