INORAN kicks off new era with brand new album!

After small break, vocalist INORAN announced that he will be releasing a brand new album, 2019, June 7.  For those who don’t know, INORAN, who was famously known as the former guitarist for the band LUNA SEA up until their untimely disbandment back in 2000, has since then found major success as a solo act.

2019 will be INORAN’s latest original album since THANK YOU back in 2016 and it is his third original album overall. You can look forward to two different editions: a CD-only standard edition and a limited edition dubbed the Perfect Box Edition. This particular edition will include not only the album along with a DVD featuring several music videos, but a vinyl version of the album, making it a must-grab for fans. With her powerful vocals Naz announces debut single!

Okinawa-born vocalist Naz will be making her debut with her single “JUQUCY”, dropping July 24. Originally debuting with Tomita Labs’s song “OCEAN” back in August of 2018, Naz impressed Tomita with her strong vocals and was soon signed.

Tomita, along with several members of the music production team WONK, will produce “JUQUCY” with Naz taking writing duties for two of the tracks on the single. “JUQUCY” will drop with five tracks total.

Naz will also be making a cover of Nancy Sinatra’s famous track “These Boots Are Made for Walkin’” along with Naz’s track “Fare”, which she just dropped earlier in the week.

Niji No Conquistador prepares us for summer by dropping two new music videos!

Twelve-member female idol group Niji No Conquistador dropped two brand new music videos for their new single coming out July 10 titled “Ai wo Kokoro ni Summer to Oshieyo”. The first music video is titled “Waiting Wedding”, a cute little clip wherein the viewer gets to see everyone dancing around in different types of wedding dresses. The second, “ジャポニジフェス” (“Japonifisu”), features all of the girls kimono-clad and having fun at a festival.

“Ai wo Kokoro ni Summer to Oshieyo” will feature a staggering eight editions, one of which a standard edition and the rest limited editions. The standard edition will include both a CD and DVD and depict the entire group on the cover. Six of the seven limited editions will include only a CD but the cover will feature two girls paired off with each other and come with its own remix of last track “愛をこころにサマーと数えよ” (“Ai o kokoro ni samā to kazoeyo”). The last limited edition will be a CD and DVD edition as well and features all members on its cover. The track listing will be posted at the bottom of this article.

Little Glee Monster is calling you over with new release

Five-member female idol group Little Glee Monster announced that they will be releasing a recording of their concert at Nippon Budokan this past February 6. The release, Little Glee Monster Live in Budokan 2019 - Calling Over!!!!! , will be available June 19. Its four editions will consist of a Standard Edition, a First Press Edition which will have a PlayPASS, and a Limited Edition which will come with a bonus DVD or Blu-ray depending on which edition you buy. Track listings for all editions will be posted below.

Yoko Hamasaki returns to solo career with two new albums!

Lead singer for band URBANGARDE Yoko Hamasaki announced that she will be releasing a brand new album titled BIND LOVE July 3. BIND LOVE will be the latest release by Hamasaki since her album Blue Forest back in 2016.

Hamasaki won’t be doing it alone as she will be teaming up with famed music producer Toshiki Kadomatsu. She commented that with this new album she hopes to show the world how she has stepped up as a singer. BIND LOVE will drop with seven tracks total, five of which written and composed by Hamasaki herself.

Hamasaki also announced that she will be releasing a remastered version of her debut album Film noir, upgrading it to the title Film noir ultime which will also be released July 3. The album will not only have its originally released six tracks but three new ones as well.

Unfortunately no pre-orders are available at this time but we will be sure to update you when they are!
