Kato Miliyah builds a life with music and love!

Japanese R&B/pop vocalist, songwriter, novelist, and fashion designer Miliyah Kato announced that she has married and a baby is on the way! Kato-san debuted in 2004 with her single “Never let go/Yozora”; she was only a high school student at the time. Her lyrics and charisma won over Japan and helped her rise in popularity. The news of Kato’s marriage and pregnancy was announced by her on her official website. Her significant other (husband) is a non-celebrity and their baby is due this summer. On her website Kato-san stated, “I will do my best my best to build a life full of love in both the world of music and at home. I hope that you continue to follow me.”

Shiina Ringo looks fierce in new album art

Vocalist Shiina Ringo has a brand new album coming out May 27 which will be titled Sandokushi. Its namesake is a combination of Buddhist term sandouku, “three poisons which taint the hearts of man: desire, ill will, and ignorance”; and shi, “history”. Sandokushi will have a total of thirteen tracks but the final track list has yet to be revealed.

Sandokushi will be released in a standard and limited edition. The standard edition will just be the CD while the limited edition will come with both a CD and DVD.

Also, on May 27, Ringo will be releasing her Ringo Expo 18, the concert she held at the Saitama Super Arena November 25 of last year. It was part of Ringo’s twentieth anniversary tour.

Aimyon shows off just how beautiful mother nature is in upcoming music video!

Popular vocalist Aimyon released a preview of her new music video for her upcoming single titled “ハルノヒ” ("Harunohi”) on her official YouTube channel. The single is set to drop April 17 and it will be her seventh single overall. “Harunohi” is directed by Tomokazu Yamada—the same director responsible for her latest hit “Marygold”—and shows Aimyon roughing it out by singing in various natural settings such as along a beach and among the clouds to show just how unique she is.

As reported earlier, “Harunohi” will be the main theme song for the upcoming Crayon Shin-chan movie Shinkon ryokō harikēn ~ Ushinawareta Hiroshi ~ and will be released with two editions. There will be a Standard Edition and a Limited Edition, the latter of which will feature unique cover art of Crayon Shin-chan. You can pre-order your copy below.

Aimer shows fans that the world is calling them in latest music video!

Ahead of her dual-album release, vocalist Aimer dropped the music video for her song “3min” on her official YouTube channel. As previously announced, “3min” will be a part of Aimer’s upcoming album Sun Dance, scheduled to come at you April 10 alongside an additional album coined Penny Rain.  

The music video impressively features the worldly theme of expanding one’s horizons by traveling the world which is calling out to you to experience its majesties—all in three minutes’ time. It luxuriously shows this theme off through Aimer visiting Tokyo, Beijing, Singapore, London, and New York, among other major cites across the world.

Each album will have a CD-only standard edition and a double-album pack limited edition simply titled Type A and Type B; these Types will include a Blu-ray or DVD copy of the music videos of the song of each respectively. Also announced was an exclusive edition including a 2-CD + 2-Blu-ray set featuring a mini jigsaw puzzle.

EXILE TRIBE breaks down the beats once again with brand new subgroup

Mega male idol group EXILE TRIBE announced that they are switching things up for the their latest subgroup. Formed back in 2018, BALLISTIK BOYZ is set to make their debut this May. Since their formation they’ve been opening for another new group from EXILE TRIBE, the FANTASTICS.

This subgroup is trying a much different approach to making their debut: instead of a single release, they are going to be doing a full studio album self titled BALLISTIK BOYZ. While the finer details of the album have yet to be revealed, the album will be released in three editions. A CD-only Standard Edition will be followed by a CD + DVD Edition and a Limited Edition which will come with the CD, DVD, a photo book, and a tote bag. BALLISTIK BOYZ’s debut album is set to drop May 22. Pre-orders are already available so be sure to pick yours up below.
