AKB48 Senbatsu Winner Is Going On Hiatus

Mega idol group SKE48 released a statement today stating that Jurina Matsui is suspending activities, not only with SKE48, but with all other 48 groups as well. Her sudden break appears to be due to medical reasons and/or treatment. No further explanations were given. It is unclear how long this hiatus is going to last, and while Matsui is on break she will be absent from all of her social media accounts. It is also unclear how this break is going to affect the next AKB48 single (since Jurina will be acting as center). Our hearts go out to her and we hope she has a swift recovery.
