Popular band Southern All Stars, after a three-year hiatus, has come back with new song "闘う戦士（もの）たちへ愛を込めて" ("Tatakau Mono Tachi He Ai Wo Komete"). The single will be used as the main song for the movie 空飛ぶタイヤ (Sora Tobu Taiya), set to release on June 16th. No release date has been announced for "Tatakau Mono Tachi He Ai Wo Komete", but we will be sure to update when it has!
Rock band ALEXANDROS announced on their official site their new single KABUTO, which releases on May 23rd. Releasing with the single will be a special photo book of the band's trip to New York.

Popular duo CHATMONCHY had announced previously that they will be retiring in July. They also mentioned that their two final album 誕生(Tanjo) and 共鳴 Forever Edition (Kyomei). Both will be released on Jun 27th. Tanjo will have seven original songs while Kyomei Forever Edition is simply a remastering of their 6th album back from 2015.
Multi-talented group Shonan No Kaze is celebrating their 15 year anniversary since their debut. They announced that June 13th will be the release date for their new album called 一五一会 (Ichigo Ichie), which translates to "Once in a lifetime". It was named as such because, according to the band, all of its members meeting and preforming for this long a timespan feels like a once in a lifetime event.

Yasushi Akimoto-produced show Last Idol, now in its third season, announced its newest members. Out of 3,000 auditions, twelve have been finalized. If they are judged similarly to in previous seasons, only seven out of the twelve will be chosen to form the second generation.
